We've now hit DC, NYC, & BMORE and lemme tell yall, THEY AIN'T BEEN EZ! Promoters have made me and Marsha's job extremely difficult by opting to promote a "Floetry" tour (in DC even going so far as to SAYING in the Post that Nat would be performing with Marsha...doozie) and not being forthcoming about the new Floetry 2.0 look. So of course people have been look at me CUUUHHRRAAZZYYY like, WHO THE HELL IS THIS CHICK?!!? But I been keepin my head about me folks and just focusing on these songs and showing the people why this makes sense. You feel me?? Man last night in Bmore a chick was right at my feet and looked me dead in my face and said, "I WANT NATALIE!" daaaagggggggggg...c'mon folks a lil consideration! lol It's all good though. I knew this was what it was gonna be (of course knowing and living it are two COMPLETELY different things!). Nevertheless shouts to everyone who copped mixtapes last night in Bmore, who walked it out with me in DC (the go-go club was crazy too!) and who stayed after to chat it up with me and Marsh in NYC. This morning i had our background singer helping me paint bags (u know i get my paint on). We being productive yo!!! (Of course the band was busy playin Madden. lol RAY RAY IS STILL THE CHAMP!) Thnks too to Adam Blackstone bass player to the stars for stoppin through the Bmore show too and stormin the stage to the security's horror!

Shout to Wendy Williams to who's been spending time lying bout me and Marsha on the air!

Real talk though I just want to thank everyone who's been comin out supporting the Floetry Remixed tour and leaving me comments/messages of encouragment. Its tough out here when folks have loved the group Floetry so much to step in and bring my own flava. I know you can't please everyone but shit, I sure as hell try. For the folks that don't like the new move/look of Floetry, dag maybe one day you will. For those who do, I thank you, thank you, thank you. This is a TOUGH business (I say it all the time) but it makes it so much easier when i know that the music and moves im making is touching folks! Hollataplaya!!! WE IN RICHMOND, VA TONIGHT!!!

I went to a show, I brought a mixtape too! I was looking forward to seeing the set. Not many people really knew what was going on. The people around me were mad, to say the least. Most people were curious. They didn't know what to expect. You have to play with it like dude said, make an introduction like I'm here! You should do some freestyles over some classic beats, people really pay attention if you just display raw skill, people respect that. They just have to warm up to the idea. Keep doin' you! This is only the first step, one thing though. Keep having fun because I wished I was on stage. It looked like fun. I came to the show to have fun and I did.

well Amanda I must say I went to the first show ya'll did in Boston and honestly I was just hurt at the fact that the audience was not informed or warned in what we were about to see. We initially paid to see the Floetry we allknow and love, but to our surprise we got Marsha and Amanda! Honestly I was disappointed but you know what girly...you did ya thang!!! I was sketchy at first but I liked the fact that you put new lyrics to old songs, your flo is completely different than Nats and you are not trying to be someone else. Even though it hurts to hear in your face "Where's Natalie!" and "Who is this chick!" just remember that naturally people will have this reaction...you would too if your favorite group switched it up without warning, but all in all the new songs are HOT!!! and just give the world YOU, stay true to YOU and show the world YOUR skills and I think you'll be fine. I enjoyed the show over all and I wish you much success. If ya'll ever need a trumpet player or background female vocalist, let a sista know lol!

First off I'm a die hard Floetry fan. I've had the opportunity to see them live at the Jazz Cafe and several times here in the states. For the past week, my phone/email had been off the hook, peeps asking if I was going to check'em out. I knew about the change, and was so ready to see the new mix. Last night in Richmond was a big thing to have a major act come during a weeknight is big. For one Richmond shows are lacking, especially in R&B HIP House and Jazz and clubs here are few due to the alcohol control by the Commonwealth.

Anyway. I thought the show went well. You must play through whatever your going through. When the crowd saw that the change up, they stayed. Unlike the time Meshell came to town, folks booed. As a musician myself, you have to sell it, be it, and let the crowd believe it. I don't where it started but for some reason folks like to sit down, weird. Ask Goeple. LOL Keep doing you sh!t. Remember you are not the first person who has stepped in. ~ Van Halen, Destiny Child, Supremes, Temptations, shit Brand New Heavies did it 4 times (N'Dea, Siedah Garrett, Sy Smith, Nicole Russo, N'Dea) Remember that Cancerian DIVA

Some people were upset when Johnny joined New Edition...until they heard him blowing on "Can You Stand the Rain" and "Boys to Men"...so just Johnny Gill that ish...and the people that were fans of good music and NOT the people will come around...

I was highly impressed with the show... Floetry has a huge network of fans here in Baltimore, and I too only found out the day of the show that you were performing and not Natalie. Needless to say I was super hyped when reading about you and was expecting big things from you. You rocked it out, and I was dissapointed in the people in the crowd who couldn't act like adults. Good luck with the rest of the tour! And thanks again for the picture that night :)
