Okay, I voted...even though I don't really "relish" this song, "Official Girl." This song bring very painful feelings to me! It makes me feel like some "mistress" is trying to get a married man to maker "her" his official girl, instead of the wife, and it is just so so painful for me! I HATE hearing this song, really! I wish to God that women didn't "compete" to get men to make them their "official girl," but especially once a marriage takes place, I wish men and women would leave the married couple ALONE, no matter now, how YOUNG the girls or even guys could be that come along as forces on the married couple? I wish the married men and women were strong enough and had strong enough egos, as well, so as not to fall and emotionally/sexually abuse the younger ones that do come along. It is all such a mess! On a brighter note: I just got an e-mail from Anthony Evans telling us to go to the Gospel Music Channell's site and vote for his video "Meaningless" there. He told us we could vote once a day. :) I'm getting ready to go there now to vote. I don't mind be a voter, I guess? But there will come a time in my life, where I will feel I have to stop voting, except for maybe the Presidential elections, or the government elections? Another thing...Cassie... I just met up again with one of my little neighbor girls. She's about 11-years-old, and her name is "Cassidy," "Cassie" for short, when she told me today that I could call her "Cassie" I thought of you, Diddy's Cassie :) Keep this youngin' in your prayers, and may we all strive not to give her nightmares as she grows up.
