	Sketch	I am sad to hear this news...I saw you guys 4 times live in concert from Nov. 2003 to July 2004 - now that's dedication!! Definitely the most times I have seen any band in just 8 months. I even met you guys in January 2004 at the Virgin Megastore in NYC...it was an awesome experience. 	Tyler	Phantom Planet was the first band I ever discovered on my own as a lonely freshman in high school. You guys have been there through all the good times and the bad. I'm very saddened by the news of this indefinite hiatus. The music has progressively gotten better with each new album. My only regret now is having missed your last show in Houston a few weeks ago at the House Of Blues. I never would have thought it'd be the last chance I ever got to see you. 	HappyKid	Hmm... "indefinitely"? in•def•i•nitely (n-df-nt) adj. Not definite, especially: a. Unclear; vague. b. Lacking precise limits: an indefinite leave of absence. c. Uncertain; undecided: indefinite First, the Format calls it quits at the start of the year and now Phantom Planet at the end of the year. What a sad time for music. I hope 2009 is a better one for all of us... in so many ways. I also wish the economy were good enough to schedule time-off and book a flight out to California at such short notice. You are one of the best live bands I have ever been lucky enough to see. When I say this, it carries a lot of weight. In saying this I place you in the company of kick-ass rock n'rollers like the Who and Superdrag whose performances, for me, have been experiences of sheer musical bliss and the beautiful presence and recognition of life. Both the Who and Superdrag called it quits for years - and then returned - so I am going to keep that hope with me. Allow me that much... And with that, I want to thank you for everything. Thank you for giving us your all onstage every single time. Thank you for truly caring about your fans - you've always been kind, gracious and genuine. And thank you, most importantly, for giving us the wonderful music that will always keep Phantom Planet in our lives. Although, I truly don't want to see you go away, I wish you each the best in your future projects - be they musical or otherwise - and know that you will always have my support. I have seen you many times since October of 2001 at Peabody's in Cleveland. It will always feel like one too few. I'll miss you.
