Just to let you know I bought the double "The Best So Far" (Virgin Records CD/DVD) yesterday and had tremendous fun listening to Brown Sugar, How Does It Feel, Lady and all the other tracks; the DVD is so sizzeling hot I had to change my panties ...if you get my drift. His ability to channel the musical spirits of Marvin Gaye,Prince,Eddie Kendricks is most unusual to say the least. 	Olu	I hear you, I listened, and I like it. If you hear Prince & Marvin, all love. I do feel however like after all the talk that Peter Edge, his A&R did in the SPIN article about D being the next worldwide superstar, breaking genres and all... I expected something bigger, not sonically, but musically/ conceptually... all the stuff his engineer said about Hendrix, etc... I expected something more outside the regular D'Agnelo pretty falsetto harmonies, mid tempo, sounds nice (safe) playbook. But I do like the joint. And much love brothas.
