watched anthony hopkins in light-brown-face as othello last night
that line (spoken by a great Bob Hoskins, my new and old favourite actor, as Iago) reminded me to be nicer to people on studio visits
as i had my first official studio visit this Sunday as well

more on that in a sec
Patrick made this
are you trying to tell me something??
patrick is away and thus this is apostrophe once again

my studio is right next to whole fud where i go repeatedly to get what I obnoxiously call "soup melange"
which is a little bit of each of their soups
it is not as gross as this photo makes it look i swear!
i think the combination of the tomato-ey bits and the red bits on the bandaid are what is making this photo so revolting
hmmm....

ok back to the studio visit
Amy and Martin of Galleri Loyal in Stockholm (pictured here) were very nice and i think much nicer than i tend to be on these things
they took me to Bill Saylor's studio in Bushwick after, whose work you see in these phots

that is him on the left

i liked this one best
this visit was funny: i left with the sense that i really liked the artist, without the sense that there was any particular piece i liked much at all
weird!

a 2003 piece that was shown at Leo Koenig gallery
the way the Stockholm people said KOENIG was really really interesting as well

this fax came through while we were there
what a fucking weird thing to happen, eh patty pat pat?

patrick and i walked around that night and i got distracted by fish

the audio for this bit would be patrick
kathy come on kathy come on!

lets go! im not waiting for you
lets go!
kathy!

im leaving! bye!
kathy!

and then five steps later he stops to take phots of this thingie

weinermobile

you heard me!

this guy's bike is kinda fucked
so patrick left me to go to florida for some vague reason

citrus fruits figured largely in his decision

i almost finished my pintar in the frenzy of activity that ensued from grief

i think i look like dave schubert in this one...

poppycock!

i feel like this

today is spicy
i am going to long island city to the deitch studios building for the first time in a sec
then i am going to pick up the awesome, purloined, delayed, emended NEST BOOK!
i am so psyched
i leave you with this thought:
