I had heard you were working on the new ..CD with David Foster, does this mean you'll be going in a new direction? ..Some ideas for your new site, i can't speak for everyone but I'd like to see more of you lol. Behind the scenes footage of you in the studio maybe. I don't know if you keep a journal, but if you like writing them it would be neat to be able to read your thoughts about everything that's happening for you. Um, maybe if you're able to do like a monthly chat with the fans, that would be really cool. I miss the video blogs, those were a great way to keep everyone updated. ..I'm no expert on web design myself but I would be more than happy to help you out with ideas or anything else for constructing/organizing your site.. .. 	winnie	Katharine...you don't know how much you have made me sooooo very happy at that news that you are now signed with a new label and you are making a new cd. Katharine...I prayed about this for sooooo long. Thanks for the news....Since you asked, what I would like to see at the new website for you is a weekly video blog...it could be just a short 2 or 3 minutes where you click on your camera and go for it. It could be informal but if you talk to us about how your week is going or what your schedule is coming up or even what you ate for lunch, it is a good way to communicate to your fans. You may answer some looming questions from us or even jus say...."hey guys, I am washing my car and walking my dog and I felt compelled to talk to you guys today through this vlog etc. etc. " You know us, we like to know what's going on with you because we love you and it makes us happy. That is my suggestion. A 3 minute o less vlog each week we could call Kat's Update or Kat's Vlog or whatever. 	JazzyJim Jim Pierce	The basics for a good website would include your music playing when logged on, links to pages that would have tour dates, photos, current events and other appearances, another page for KM merchandise, like CD's, videos, clothing. Another good idea is a page where your fans can post forums and blogs. 	Joe	First, this is wonderful news to hear Katharine. What would I like in a new website for you? Hmm, going back to the previous official web site...a good start would be to have somebody that keeps it fresh with the latest news about you. That would be nice. It was a little frustrating before when we'd know things and there was nothing there. Not everybody keeps up nearly as closely as some and they might only find out things from your official site so it's important it's up with the latest official stuff (not rumors of course).....As for website specifics...if you could start doing video blogs again and put them there that would be fantastic. Maybe a chat room where you could drop in once a month or something there. And of course the fans could use it whenever.....Oh, here's an idea related to video blogs...maybe you could incorporate fan questions into video blogs. Maybe answer an e-mail question with the fan's name included (because fans get a kick out of you saying their name) as a part of them in addition to sharing whatever news, thoughts you have at the time. It was really fun when you did the video blogs before especially when you'd tell us just random things like needing to take a shower or brush your teeth. Whatever. People like that as weird as it sounds.....Last thing...don't make the website pink. Please! How about purple? Red? Blue?
