So Science Fair was this past Thursday.  Of course it happened to follow what I'll call "Fight Week December 2006!"  Everyday this week there has been 3 to 5 fights a day in school.  One of the basketball games ended with the girls from our school fighting the girls from the opposing school.  (One girl was knifed, but I don't know how bad and from which school she was from.)

So Science Fair had more kids participating than in years past.  That was the first problem.  Then the Science Fair was held in the front foyer during school hours so sometimes there were extra kids hanging out.  That's another problem.  And then there are my kids all juiced up from fight week.

Well Fight Week Dec. 2006 was ended with two girls going at it in the middle of Science Fair over some dumb teenage boy.  It happened so quickly and all of a sudden there was this girl pummling this other girl and other girls joined in to take their licks and kicks on this one girl.  It took several grown men to break up the fight.

My husband was suprised of the viciousness and that it was girls.  THe Science Fair Coordinator was upset and was crying.  It's because she was trying to do something nice for the kids and they just ruined it.

The only reason I went to school on Wednesday, (after the Rusty saga), was because of the Science Fair.  Man these kids are crazy sometimes.  And I've been told I'm too nice.

Peace Out!
