4 real man

I rekon the whole mysterious nature surrounding Burial was what attracted me towards your music initially, it felt almost like it was being beamed off some other planet and we were just lucky enough to be able tune in2 it, like it wasnt necessary to see the face behind it all. Big Upz 4 that experience.
So now whens the tour G! I want 2 get ya over 2 OZ

Will ( BURIAL ),

Greetings and respect from NYC! This "reveal" comes as quite a shocker! No one saw this coming. And in the whole run of things, it's only more brilliance.

For two years and some change, I've told everyone I knew who still had hearing to check you out. This is a wide range of folk, but they all came back saying, "Thank you" and "That was deep!". Then BURIAL became part of their daily life.

In this age of image, you've pulled off quite a coup by being heard first! And from wherever your little room was when you made your "tunes", they left there and took shelter all over the world.

I toast your game.

Also, I look forward to the next group of "tunes".

Thank you for your imagination, integrity and honesty.

soul power,
Kahlil a.k.a.

Will....you are such an inspiration for me to start producing my own music and one of the biggest factors I liked was the fact that you were an enigma....you only made music at night time, no interviews, live shows, etc. etc. But...in the end, you are right...its all about the music and your music is fucking incredable! I cant believe you actually use this page (its great actually being able to communicate with an artist and not just a PR person).

Rubbish tunes? Man I havent heard you do a single song I havent liked. Its all amazing music! I cant wait for the new album...I remember in an interview (one of the few you've ever done) that you said this one was gonna be the "dark, futuristic" album haha. Cant wait! "Untrue" and your self-titled are still on repeat in my Zune. I wish I lived back home in London and could talk music with you and drink some beer. Cant wait to hear what you've been working on.

Oh...and since you arent gonna do the unknown thing anymore...are we maybe gonna see some pictures of you??? :D

And you've made right decision, Burial. For some time your being in hide gave great effect - people were talking only about your music. Recently it seemed to be a bit different way... Many listeners were focused on talking about "who is Burial? how he looks?" and so on, and so on. The most important thing is music and am happy that my favourite music artist thinks about his next album, not about some rubbish plots about him.

Anyway, got one question - you play rather in UK, is it possible to see u in Poland after realising 3rd album? You got quite a lot fans here, we are waiting for you, possibility to hear "Archangel" or "Pirates" would be just, hm, something magical and very important for us.
:)

Greetings and I hope that your 3rd album will be as good as both previous longplays!

Kuba, Poland

ive never heard any music which is as powerful and emotional as yours. different styles do different things to different people and takes them to differents past memories they've had....yours takes me to a whole different place i've never been before. i hope to hear a whole lot more of it. i think its a shame that people are trying to expose u because when you know the artist or producer behind the music, you picture them while listening...with burial all we see is the pictures that the music paints in our heads and how the music relates to us. If that is what you were trying to acheive then you have accomplished that and so much more.

i hope in reading this you will feel a little bit better about yourself because i can tell u ur music does that 2 me but 100 times more.

all the best for the future

Will,
You music means the world to me. This year started out so shitty for me, and your album was the only thing I listened to in those dark moments. In the era of internet, the value of anonymity has increased so much that it's hard not bring more attention to yourself by being anonymous. Your anonymity reminds me of James Stinson (Drexciya). He never did it for media hype. He did it because he wanted it to ONLY be about the music. Stay focused and keeping making the music you love. That's all that matters in the end.

Take Care,
Serena

Yea, sorry for whatever trouble you were going through. Love what you're doing man and your rise is a huge inspiration to me as how we work and our setups probably have more similarities than differences.

Norman Cook... you know I heard that rumor and all due respect to him but, Mr. Cook's never demonstrated that he had near the same gift as you do. I guess it's cool that now only Will Bevan gets credit for Burial's work but I hope people stay outta your business because I know you gotta live and work too like the rest of us. I never understood why people gotta put their artists under 24/7 watch anyways but there's alot of things I don't understand about the world so oh well.

Keep on keepin' on bro, hopefully you get over to the U.S. for some shows one day. I'd buy a ticket.

Much Love,

Will/Burial

The emotion in your tunes and the emotions they create cannot be put into words!!

Your music has touched people in ways you can never imagine!
The good your tunes have brought to the world is unmeasurable!

With a tear in my eye from reading all the sheer admiration and love left on your page all that is left to say is....

Your family should be very proud of you and the pleasure your music brings to people
and finally

Thank YOU Will Bevan
