It always bugged me that the movie was titled for Mel but about River... glad your song is about him. (Although the tv series was about him & River's was a mostly untold story- the movie should have been titled differently.)

Love the song, you sound good :) The digital tone in the beginning is almost video game like & a little much, unless it is part of the original song... I don't remember.

The video feels really close, but not quite there. It could use some final editing to really hit matches. Don't get me wrong, the connections were great, but with a little more fine tuning worlds can be mouthed and events can happen as they are being sung about. I think, the part with the planet explosions would fit with the "4,3,2,1" better then where it is?

The "digital tone" is meant to sound like a video game -- it was a sound featured throughout the album -- and it mimics the keyboard part in the original song.

As for the editing, I can't criticize someone who put this together in their spare time and as a fan. I'm just flattered someone cared enough to do it in the first place.

Okay, I can't take it anymore. I have looked and looked for the information on the original song that you used. Could you please tell everyone what the name and artist of the original song was? Thank you.

You know, before I heard your Captain Mal song, I could have said the name and artist of the original, but all I can spout now is.... Possible Oscar Captain Mal. LOL! I just love it!
