and I don't feel any different. The dog slept in this mornning so I did too. But then I woke up and said, "The Record is out today! I have to get up!!!" And so I did. My friend Brad emailed the stats from the local store and it looks like it's been a steady but calm morning here in Raleigh. But now I'm hearing from the front lines in other places that some stores either don't have it or sold out of it already. America, if you want the record, do not let this stop you!!! Go to MergeRecords.com or Amazon.com or the store where the record never runs out--ye olde itunes.com. Ivan and I decided to have an informal cookout/oyster roast to celebrate the release. By informal, I mean, way last minute. I guess we should invite you if you are reading this. Come over! Drive to Raleigh then take a left and then take another left and then it's the house with the pine trees and the old dog in the yard. We have a grill and it has a meat side and a vegetarian side. We also have a fancy new oyster steamer and Ivan and Tyler are in charge of that so if you want to put your non-oyster shellfish in there, you're going to have to take it up with them.
