Hey Michael,

If there was a fire (God forbid) in your studio and you could only grab two guitars to rescue, which two would they be? Can we see them?  fullshred

This question for Michael.

What is your biggest challenge as a musician, and what do you do when your creative drive gets slowed down?

Hi Michael,
How did you do the tapped-arpeggios in Science Fiction and Rain Forest?
Will you do a lesson on them in your column? haha :)

Bought your Assume The Shred Position and did a cover of No Boundaries.  It looks like you used several different guitars in the video.  Which is your favorite?  I played an ESP F-100.  Thx.  Dico ..m/

Hey there Michael.

What are you thoughts (if any) about the artists Impellitteri, and Phil Keaggy? I've always been curious about what my favorite artists think of others I love.

Thanks for all the great music! ..m/

Here is my question

Michael, how have you been able to stay so grounded. I have talked to many players, and some, not all seem to have a little bit of a big head but, not you. You just seem to not conform to what is popular at any given time  and have stuck to your guns all these years. I just wanted to know if anything has help you on your guitar journey in this area, like a muse

Hi Mike!

The HWS2: voices CD is amazing, after that succes, exists some possibility of seeing you to do a new band and doing concerts? Maybe with the HWS2 formation (Joe Babiak, Warren etc.) Playing a section of vocal songs of Holland/Nitro that made you a legend, really good songs like 'love strikes back', `Gotta run` or 'freight train',covers or new creations.  The other section of the concert could be all instrumental, like No Boundaries etc. Finishing with the spectacular double guitar solo or something like this.

We can see this someday? It would be the best of the best!

Thanks!

How do you go about writing your songs, do you improv melodies and solos and then pick which ones you like or do you carefully plan out all the melodies and solos?

Michael, I worked security for you while doing a dean guitars clinic in New Jersey. You have such a calm technic, as i spoke to you before the show you were rippin through scales without even looking at your hands and STILL haveing a full conversation with me.., what was the fuel to the fire that made u want to progress better and better as a guitar player? was there ever a point when you thought "maybe i know enough knowledge to be satisfied as a guitar play"???
