Current mood:  contemplative
What a week. Beware of this band. When they enter automobiles slated to tour, something very strange happens. Stars mis-align, the earth reverses it's axis, and the band, along with other innocent bystanders, invokes the curse of the black cloud.

The tour took us many places: Corona, Van Nuys, Rhino Records in Claremont, West Middle School in Downy, the Silverlake lounge, the Pomona Fairplex, and some shoulder along the I-5 grapevine with a frozen engine.

We arrived in California on Monday and went to the beach for good surfing and crisp cervezas. The car we took there ended up in the impound lot due to expired tags. No restroom in sight. "Here, throw this blanket over you and piss into this beer cup." "Hey, dig a hole in the sand, lay down on it and urinate." Those sentences spoken with glistening sprinkles of beer came out of our mouths on that beautiful Monday afternoon.

Wednesday we played a show at the Rhino Records store in Claremont, CA. Traffic delayed our set time by an hour and a half. Thanks to the four of you that watched us.

Thursday we performed at two 'last day of school' pep rallies at the West Middle School in Downy,CA. Impressionable sixth and seventh graders with smiles and cell phones galore to autograph, we love you. Concert going virgins no more. The young eardrums suffered that coup de gras willingly. Fly from the nest but don't forget that first concert.

Pomona, CA. Pomona Fairplex, Vans Warped Tour. 110 degree weather. Anywhere you turned, a vocalist was belting the ubiquitous "Zoo Za Zey." Heat stroke was upon us but our set time was scheduled during the sun's descent so we were spared. Thanks to the four of you that watched us.

On our way to San Francisco for our second Warped Tour date, around 3:30 am, the Chevy Trailblazer's engine gave it's farewell cry and froze halfway up some wine country mountain.

Being driven back to Corona,CA where we would rest in our defeat, the car we were riding in got side-swiped by a large pick up truck. That was enough. The gods have spoken.

So Your Highness Electric retired to their separate homes. Bob to Louisville, Ben to Corona, Brad remained on the Warped Tour playing with The Bronx, and Brandon to Portland.

We apologize to our fans in San Fran. This isn't the end. Our return to the road is imminent. One sentence does linger though:Thankfully no one was hurt and no damage was done.

Wow, that sounds like you had quite the experience on the road. I bet it was pretty troublesome to get everyone out there in the first place being that everyone's so scattered. I bet the Middle School show was fun. lol. How did you guys manage to get that gig anyways? Well as long as you got some exposure while you were out there and were heard into someone else's ears than the effort is all that can be looked at for the best. Keep up the great music and I think with a matter of time if you all get placed with the right bands to tour with, your message shall be noticed by the masses. Well while you all part seperate ways for now, i'll be trying to spread the word on YHE.
I fucking love the new album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peace,

-D
