EUROTOUR 2008
22.02.2008 - 01.03.2008

Tour Starts Friday, February 22nd 2008.

We're all siked for this and we're counting down !

february 22nd - AJZ leisnig

"the curse of leisnig"

On the first date of tour we woke up at 05.15, drove to our rehearsal space and packed the van. First stop en route to leisnig was our buddy André's house. he booked this tour and our vinyl and tour poster were sent to his house so we needed to pick this up . One hour into the 3 hour drive to Andre our bus started making weird sounds. we stopped, checked and drove on. 500 meters later the van made even worse sounds. We stopped, called the service (ANWB) and called Andre we were gonna be a bit later. Little did we know.
Service came, looked, and said:your fucked the front axis of our van was to fucked up to drive any further. We were stranded in a city called "Cuijk" famous for it's turbojugend chapter, Johnny Cash cover band "The Orange Blossom Special" and it's the place where we bought our van !. We located the dealer and confronted him with our (serious) problem ( our van is 3 months old... stuff like this shouldn't happen) ... to make a long story really short: he told us to fuck off. !! We hope he dies soon !. With all this bullshit we were already 3 hours behind on schedule. We made a decision: Richard and Kees took the 12 o lock train to Amsterdam to pick up a rental van, the rest of us stayed in Cuijk with the broken van and our stuff.

Our broken van was about to be towed away and we needed a place to store our stuff. Luckily we found a cafe called "IN DEN GROENE LAENTERN" were we could hang out and wait for Richard and Kees to return to cuijk. Keep in mind that CUIJK - AMSTERDAM = 2 hrs by train and another 1,5 HRS back by car IF there are no traffic jams, which (of course) where by the time Richard and Kees had to drive the rental van back to cuijk.

Locals began coming into the nice little cafe that threaded us with overwhelming hospitality and served us some drinks. We had a good time hanging out.

Richard and Kees arrived at 19.00 ( we were supposed to be in leisnig at 18.00) and we drove straight away to André's. We packed in the goods and raced to leisnig with a constant speed of 160 km /hrs.. We love german highway. It was 01.00 when we hit AJZ leisnig and about 100 people where in. After a 21 Hr travel we built up like mad men and played our set. People seemed to enjoy it and besides being tired as hell we had some fun too.

Too bad we missed the colored minds set ( It was their release party) cause we were really looking forward to it. Check that release out: it gonna kick your ass !
after the show we hung out with the guys in predict and benno and matti from the AJZ. When he last drunken visitor was gone, the music and lights were out we hit stage once again... with our air beds. It was 5 O clock when we hit our beds and even though we were awake for 24 hrs straight it took awhile to fall asleep.

Tomorrow we hit Bayreuth.

Bayreuth.

After our long drive on friday this drive was easy. The club of today was really really nice. A big dance floor and a nice atmosphere.
6 bands played and the sound was good. After a great meal and a couple of beers the venue starting to fill up with kids. It was really cool
to see XgraceX again. Last time we played together was in 2007 and it's always cool to see this band play.

we hit stage at 23.45 and ( in great all for nothing tradition) I fucked up my amp. I guess the transistor is fucked again, but luckily we had bas's
"old" amps with us.

After the show we slept at David's place and while he went to show afterparty we got some sleep. We needed it bad, because on sunday we had to drive to zlotow, poland
another good 10 hrs of driving.

Zlotow, poland

So we got op at 06.30 on sunday morning and drove away at 08.00. We made it to the border in 4 hrs. It was our first time in poland and we're siked as hell
We got to the club around four where maciej and the guys from the 1125 crew welcomed us. First stop was a good restaurant around the corner where we had dinner with the guys from dead men's chest. The club was pretty big, but we played in a small part in the front. There was no stage ( floor shows rule ! ) around 18'o clock the first band of tonight "regiment" kicked off with their really cool nyhc sounding songs. The place went nuts !! about 150 people got in and people in poland know how to dance hard !!. During the second band "Endless
Desire" some people got carried out of the venue. One was taken the hospital. We set up our gear and kicked off.

I think I can honestly say that this is the craziest show we ever played. Within the first songs cindy got pulled into the crowd and she finished "determination" crowd surfing.
The place was so full of kids that At one point people where standing next to richard's drumkit, cindy, ernst and kees where in the air and bas had to stand almost on top of his amp.
People that knew our lyrics where singing, people that didn't know the lyrics where moshing and crowdsurfing. We made alot of friends after the show and around 23.00 Maciej took us to a nice appartment to sleep.

club nonstp you will never be forgotten.

Krakow , Poland

Four day of tour, last night was amazing. we all slept really good in the apartment. We got up around 07.00 and at 08.00 clock we started driving to krakow
a 10 hour trip. On the first part of the drive the roads where terrible and with only 2 lanes available and a lot of trucks on them it took us a good part of the day getting the
highway that leeds to krakow. around 19.00 at night we found the club in the beautiful centre of Krakow. Its located in a basement with lots of cool arches and two nice bars in them.
We got welcomed by our buddy spooky that hooked up the show.

When we loaded in the gear Spooky's friends Kali and Kenny served us a great meal ( with a little help from kali's girlfriend). The stage was really small and only the amps and richard drum kit fitted. Since our last floor show in poland was a blast, we didn't mind.

At 20.00 Stone heart kicked of the evening with their great performance. They ripped the place apart with a fantastic energy and cool old school songs. Next up was Minority, if your into bands like strife you've got to check them out, they where really tight and the vocalist has a great fucking voice !. The club started to get more and more crowded, and like yesterday the polish kids knew how to dance hard from the stone heart set through out the minority set people started pile ons, mosh pits and even head walks. We set up and after a short soundcheck the place exploded. Again Polish kids get the award for most energetic crowd. We had to protect our instruments from stage divers and dancing kids.

Halfway through the set , while jumping up, somebody stepped on my foot and seriously fucked up my ankle. I felt it snapped and it got really really thick. At first I thought it was broken but "luckily " it's only a concussion. Nothing A little ice and a cold can't help !. We hang out a little after the show and after a couple of beers we left We parked the bus in A secured parking space and had a short walk too Kenny's basement apartment . He's a really cool Scottish dude that lives in Krakow. After some stories about Typical English breakfast and deep frying mars bars we went for a good night coma.

The next morning Kali brought us a really nice breakfast and Richard and Erik got to taste typical Polish specialty: Sausage and Ham !

Spooky recorded the show with his camera and we took some photo's too. When we have time we'll upload them.

The next stop is Berlin where we have an day off. Tomorrow we play the Wild At Heart

edit: here are some movies from krakow thanx to spooky

Berlin

after a good night sleep in a youth hostel we hit the wild at heart. about 60 people showed up and we had a great time. we played with Volkan T ( he used to play bass in devil inside). its a hiphop band with turkisch influences. It sound great. check em out if you have the chance. We also got to meet bauke and bader, our label bosses. it was good to shake hands and we had a blast hanging out. next day we hit bader cupcake shop and we stuffed our selves with the best vegan ( and non vegan) cupcakes you can find ! mad respect !

we're in leipzig now and were about to have dinner again. ( im getting fat)ter) each day.PS: I picked John Joseph' book Evolution of a cromagnon... awesome. this is unreal

The show in Leipzig took place in the small café part of Conne Island, one of the best looking clubs we ever came across. Mirko the promoter is a chef Cook and the food was the best we ever had on tour. The Analogs from Poland opened up with their street punk music and about 60 kids where in the club. We had a great time onstage and we saw some familiar faces from Leisnig and Bayreuth. Also our friends from Schleiz ( where we play on Friday ) where there !Awesome

After the show we slept in a apartment a couple of blocks from the club and the next day Mirko amazed us again with the best breakfast any touring band could ask for ; EGG and GOOD COFFEE ! Mirko if you are reading this: We Owe You One.

Schleiz.

This had to be the party of the tour. We played With TECH & REAL HATE. Our local Hero Herr BADERMEISTER set up the show and what a party that was ! 50 cases of beer went empty all the bands, including last hope who had serious car trouble and arrived late, played great shows. The crowd went beserk and we had a good sleep thanx to Tobias and Badermeister. When we left the apartment to pick up our stuff the next day we ran into a guyt from the club. He's shit himself and made pee pee in his pants. And he wanted to use the shower of the apartment. The Venue was demolished ! Awesome.

Kuck Kucks Nest !

Since Last Hope still had van trouble The guys from Schleiz helped them out by driving to berchtesgaden with them too see our last show of this tour. MAD RESPECT. These guys from Schleiz are the greatest !

We arrived with a little delay and we had to make a quick one here, cause our rental van needed to be back in Holland asap. ! Last Hope opened up and the crowd went apeshit.

After a solid Last Hope set we set up quick and kuckkucksnest exploded again !

I think pictures in our picture sections say enough.. Thanks to DIE LAST DITCH Crew for this awesome shows.

We drove back to Holland straight after the show and after a 12 hr drive we're back home

Thanks to all that made this tour possible. We love you… this is what hardcore is about.

respect
