I'm COMPLETELY on your side Jeff. I'm a fan of Megadeth, but I can't STAND to read or watch ANY of his interviews anymore. from what I've heard & read, he's a complete & total egomanic, the definition to be exact. I was wondering when one of you guys would come out & finally say bullshit.
 

I love how you challenged Mustaine to a guitar duel. Dave Mustaine seems to have a tough enough time with his own solos let a lone trying to play any one elses.  I doubt that he would take you up on that, he wouldn't stand a chance.
 

It was about time someone stood up about Dave and him shitting all over his former lead-players. It's always the same with Dave; the new guitarplayer is always the best and the ex-members are shit.

I really can't look at Dave Mustaine the same anymore. He seems like he's trying to change but I guess in reality he's a hypocrite. You're my hero Jeff for speaking the truth. Try not to stress yourself out, as long as you know the real truth. I have a lot of respect for you Jeff. And your music is very good. I usually don't listen to stuff like that but now I actually want to learn music like that. Like I said before, hopefully we'll meet someday Jeff. Or maybe you can be my guitar teacher lol which would be cool. Take care man

What are the chances? My guitar trio partners were at a party in L.A. last night and Chris Broderick was there!! They all got a chance to talk for a while. They really liked him and said he was super cool. Some folks have been sending me mails asking what I think of Chris' playing?  I think the cat is amazing and he studied classical guitar with a guy we know in Denver.  Chris was teaching at MI/GIT but he left for the MEGADETH thing just as I was coming in to teach.  So, I inhertited some of his students and they all spoke VERY highly of him!  Looking forward to meeting the guy... maybe we'll get him up to jam with our trio on the 2010 tour!!  Hey Chris, you game?  ;)
 

Chris is a badass! You guys should work together sometime. :)

As another long time Megadeth fan who can't tolerate anything that comes out of Mustaine's mouth any more, I can only say thank you for finally taking him to task.  I've always admired the way that you, Marty, David E, and others have taken the high road, but enough is enough.  Ironically, I was listening to the solo at the end of Set the World on Fire the other day and thinking about how brilliant and melodic it is.  It's something that Mustaine couldn't begin to conceive.

Don't let that fucker ruffle your feathers.  We all know that he's a self centered, narcissistic, and pathological liar.  Not to mention, a total hypocrite.  He talks this big Christian stuff, but his wife filed for divore because the douchebag was cheating on her!  Also, I've heard some pretty nasty things about his webmaster for the website and forums.  Any form of criticism, or anything posted by fans that isn't glowing with praise gets the poster banned on the forum.

I used to be a diehard Megadeth fan, but no more.  I appreciate your work that you did on SFSGSW.  Your solos were awesome, and I have yet to hear anyone play the final solo on In My Darkest Hour note for note.  I have my own story that I would like to share with you about Dave being a dickhead to his fans.  I'll send this in a message because it will take too long to explain on here.

I am with you 100 percent on this.  Personally, I think you should just let all the shit out, so that people can totally realize how much of a shithead he really is.  Take care brother! 
 

 

Theres not a hope Dave would do the guitar battle but there also wouldnt be a chance of him winning. He will more than likely use an excuse such as his injured hand will prevent him from succeeding or something along the lines of that...bottom line hes not gonna give in.
I am a fan of the man and like his work but it cant be denied that he has been a shit-starter since day one.

Never been much of a Mustaine fan to be honest, simply for this very reason. All he has ever done is bad mouth former members, blow events out of proportion, and try to make himself look like platinum covered diamonds to the public. I don't get how anyone could listen to the guy for a minute and think he's legit. The guy basically believes that the metal world owes him a paycheck because he seriously believes he "invented" every technique that's being used today. Now, I'm not going to deny the douche his pioneer status, but, that's just being fucking ridiculous. Keep in mind this same guy bashed Dimebag Darrell before he died by claiming he was just riding the coat tails of what him and James Hetfield started all those years ago. Was Dime influenced by Metallica and Megadeth? Oh yeah. Was he his own entity? You bet your ass he was. We'll see how many people come out to recognize his greatness as a guitar legend when his time comes. And I'd be willing to bet a buffalo nickel it wouldn't be half as many as came out to recognize Dime. And you know why? Because Dime was a beloved guy who didn't constantly talk shit and live in the past about every success and every failure. Mustaine is going to go in the books for sure, but right next to his name there's going to be an asterik and the words "KING OF THE DICKS" in bold print.
