Okay, lets start with American Idol.... I dvr'd it as usual, but thank god we were watching it as early as we were. We fast forwarded through a lot of the performances, I saved it to watch some of them later, but I get to the end of the recording and......no results!!!!! You can imagine my dismay, until Destiny yells, turn it to channel 12 it is just 9:02, so I get it on there just in time to see them standing on the stage holding hands anticipating the results, which clearly Blake realizes that Jordin is going to win, but he was happy and smiley so that was cool. I thought out of the two of them she would win, I actually kinda had her picked for about 5 or 6 weeks, I thought Melinda was the best but not marketable enough, and after last nights gospel crap I know that to be true, plus her hunched over doe eyed stare when she is singing with someone else kinda creeps me out. I liked Blakes beat box performance with Doug E Fresh, I wish Jordin had performed with a bigger name than Ruben Studdard. Kelly Clarkson's Sgt Pepper (one of my favorite Beatles tunes) was pretty cool until she forgot the damn words. How lucky is Sanjaya to get to sing with Joe on stage....that would rock! I may have more on the others later...if I watch them!
Cut to Lost, I start the dvr'd recording, expecting "previously on lost" but instead I see this iraqi terrorist on my screen with a drug addiction problem, and realize it is Eli and I are trying to figure out when the time frame on this could be.....and never figure it out until Kate shows up at the airport. Who the hell's funeral was it? I am thinking it was John's since he had no family or friends, but it could have been Sawyer...if he thought Kate was going to be there. My heart was torn out when Charlie Died, I still haven't figured out why he didn't have time to save himself, Desmond could have put on the scuba gear, charlie coulda opened the door and then maybe Desmond could have helped him out...okay so maybe I'm wishful thinking...the fact that penny knows more now should prove to be interesting. If the boat wasn't penny's are they good or bad? they sounded good on the other end, but you never know..... Best line ever according to Eli Sawyer shoots Tom and Hurley says he said he surrendered why did you shoot him....Sawyer
"I didn't believe him!" All in all I thought it was pretty good, I liked that Jack told Kate he loved her, I hate to think that the future they flashed to is inevitable.....how sad for them. Eli thought it was kinda weak.
Traveler starts next week, so lets see how that goes.
