Hello there,
So... Now I´ve done a couple of more gigs, so I thought I´d post some video clips from the Cookie Gig last week (are there any Salty Liquorice Gigs ya think...?).
Yesterday:
Song for N:
(There´s a part of this clip that could do with some subtitles though... Give me some suggestions - and I´ll edit in the best one, he he he... I promise.
*already regretting this*)
Also - I just posted a new demo today...!
It´s another happy-go-lucky Vanja song, filled to the brim with ecstatic expressions of happiness and joy, just like "Survive", "Yesterday" and "Tired". It´s called "Struggle Starts Tonight". Hmmm....beginning to see a pattern here...
Now I´m off to planning the Midsummer´s dinner me and Mr N will host tomorrow. Midsummer´s - Midsommar - is a huuge deal here in Sweeeeden. Big holiday, rivals Christmas. And just to add to the stereotype image of Sweeeden, I´ll tell you what it´s about... Officially we´re celebrating the summer solstice (it´s the lightest day of the year before the nights start getting longer again) and the memory of Saint John the Baptist. But that´s ...officially. What REALLY happens is that loads of people drink their own bodyweight in schnapps, eat enormous amounts of canned rotten fish, decorate a huge pole which has two balls hanging from it (...) with leaves and flowers, only to dance around it while singing about being little green frogs. No kidding.
After that they puke. And drink their bodyweight in schnapps again. Or in wine. Or in beer. Or, if all else fails - cologne, cough medicine or wiper fluid. But still...can´t wait!
Just to give you an idea, here are some informative illustrations:
The...ehhrmm...pole. Further comments unnecessary:
A before shot of Sweeeedish midsummer´s:
...and an after shot:
Ahhh... Sweeedish midsummer´s...
The beginning of lots and lots of new exciting relationships... And the end of the equal amount of marriages.
Cheers for now!
