"What's the one thing you most want to be remembered for?"
"Oh! My eyelashes!" -Tammy Faye on "Larry King Live."

Tammy was closer to a true Christian than any televangelist to emerge from the Bible Belt. She was the first Christian Fundamentalist to openly embrace people with AIDS. Here are some loving words from Tammy and her son...

...and finally, I'd like to leave you with Tammy's true legacy to humanity;

make-up tips.

Praise The Lord and pass the mascara! God bless you Tammy; you had your priorities in order:

Love God and all his creations.
Keep your make-up flawless at all times.
Never pass-up a chance to be on television.
Marriage works better when your husband is in prison.
Jerry Falwell was a total dick.

You will be greatly missed as a voice of compassion in an increasingly cruel world. I miss you already. Not all Christians are hypocrites and you were definitely one of the good ones.

Tammy Faye was a maverick and acted as a "true" Christian, meaning she actually did follow Jesus' lead by showing compassion and kindness to ALL. Plus she was fun as hell to look at! I'm glad that the world is giving her the credit she's due.

I knew that he was gay-friendly, but I didn't know that her son was openly gay.
