I know that in the mist of having a company and working to make the money we need to survive we forget the humble person we are. We forget to be humble to others. More than one time I have been reminded of how people no longer want to work together or mentor others.
How much energy does it take to answer a quick question? Does it hurt to take someone under your wing to help them move forward with a dream?
If you are a person willing to give time and knowledge then do so. We have so many people willing to learn, wanting to grow but afraid to ask for help because they have been turned away so many times. Let the change start with you.
This year I have taken the time to build positive partnerships, barter my services, or take the timw to answer a quick question because someone did that for me. I have mentors that I still call on for assistance. We should all have that option.
I took my stand. I made the choice to be the continuation of a great thing.
What will you be?
Will you build others up or tear them down?
