We've gotten so many messages from you all with photos of yourselves with (RED) products and MySpace profiles -- we love them, and we'd love to see more!

 

The (EMPORIO ARMANI)RED One Night Only event - An INSPI(RED) Evening of Fashion and Music - in London is coming up, so we're launching a contest for our UK friends to show us how (RED) you are. We want to take one of you (and a friend) to the Armani show with us!

 

 

 

Show us how you're spreading the word about (RED)! You can be as creative and expressive as you'd like!

 

 

SOME SUGGESTIONS
Take a funny photo of yourself with your (RED) products, paint yourself (RED) and run through the streets (maybe not), design your own (RED) MySpace profile, fly a plane to write your favorite (RED) word in the sky, design your own (RED) t-shirt, get a (RED) tattoo, write a (RED) song, film your own TV ad about (RED), recruit all your friends to wear (RED) for a big group photo, paint an illustration of what (RED) means to you, write a story for your local or school newspaper the possibilities are endless.

Aawww, what about us poor Americans?  I have a project I am already working on for thee video wall that would be great for this...but no worries!  It would be loads of fun to go to a fashion show but I'd rather someone who REALLY wants it to win something like this...like an aspiring fashion designer or something. 

This is very cool but hey let's get that American campaign going!  :-)

you have no idea just how bad i want this. i am soooooooo red, i almost don't even respond to my real name anymore. i have all things red. even a rednose doggie. we have matching hair/fur. i love red everything, haircolor, sunglasses, wallets, purses, sprint phone, red adidas's, shirts, socks, hats, red ladybug tattoo etc..... my myspace name is even red. i have one tshirt that is my fave, it says: redheads do it better!!!!!!!!

What do they say about third time lucky?! Thanks to whoever it was at (RED) that I was talking to, adding the urls is so much easier than html (which had worked every other time for me exept today!)

Anyway, heres my little bit for (RED).... finally!

(The Idea) A poster design (couldnt think of anything more upmarket!!) which hopefully draws attention! I decided on some words which represented the colour red, chose some U2 lyrics I thought worked for the campaign and finally a slogan. The reason for using Africa is pretty obvious!

So, here we go:

Anyway, apart from 'check out my new (RED) profile' - thats all I've got to say for now! ....Hope everyones doing great!

I really needed a new moby as the one I had was shot, caput, knackered....  I went into have a look and there she was, The (RED) SLVR

 

My friend said what I was thinking âThat phone is VERY youâ

 

I had to have her.

 

You see, (RED) is my favourite colour, it always has been.  (RED) has always featured prominently in my life with one way another.  Thereâs a lot of red in my home â itâs seeped in there over the years....thatâs cool.  I love it anyway.

 

Now back to this (RED) SLVR, I made it mine.  Being an AC/DC fan...

 

(*coughs* Angus is GOD ..m/..m/)

 

(Yeah Iâm a rock chick â what of it man!!!)

 

...I promptly had theyâre Highway to Hell album cover put on it (took a picture with the phone and made it into wallpaper *winks*) and downloaded the Highway to Hell ring tone â well it would have been rude NOT to!!!  Oooh itâs so very devilish.  I love love love it :o) 

 

 

Now...how do I get me one of those (RED) T-shirts...?

This is a great opportunity!

and this is what i have to say.

 

I added this profile as soon as I saw it and put the banner on my page. I knew it was a worth while organisation as every charity is! I try and be as generous and giving as I can. Honest to God. He would know, as I donate to the church collection every Sunday. However, someone a little closer to home could back me up on that one. This summer I have befriended a homeless man called chris (but he doesn't like being called homeless) I just can't ignore problems like that! People needs to be able to rely on others kindness.

I've done sponsered walks and adopted animals for WWF. Next summer, once i've saved up, I would love to pay a company called i-to-i so I can do voluntary work for those who need aid. I've also begun to organise selling pudsey bear cookies, chocolates and cakes were I work part time for children in need.

Ofcourse I would love the experience of going to a full blown fashion show, that would be amazing! I would ask my friend Ella to come with me because we study Textiles together.It would open my eyes to possibilities of working in Charity, Fashion or both. If I became a success I would love everyone to benefit from it!

I'm so Red I've just written and published a book called "The Adventures of Redman Red" - it's kind of cyberpunk science fiction with a bit of a message; but mostly it's just a cracking good read 'bout a bunch of ex-bikers living with a 'Surfy' tribe on the new coastline in the year 2100, and their problems with a couple of runaway AIs.  "Red" is my man!  Check it out on Amazon.com

The âArmani says (RED)â concept I have created is based around the idea of Armani as a powerful and influential brand.

âArmani says (RED)â is a play on the âSimon saysâ playground rhyme.

When Simon says put your hands on your head, you put your hands on your head.

Iâve used this idea to illustrate Armaniâs brand strength.

Armani chooses a direction, and the world follows.

Armani is renowned for being at the forefront of fashion and design. Setting new trends and leading the industry in various directions with new and consistently innovative design ideas.

In the image I have created, the word (RED) can be seen imprinted upon iconic images renowned somewhat for their colour, and also for what they represent. Ideologies associated with the Armani brand.

Wealth, quality, luxury.

Three red squares are also displayed with the top right square containing the words âArmani saysâ.

The image is not to be taken literally.

It is not saying that a NYC cab is red. It obviously isnât. itâs yellow.

The idea is merely suggesting that Armani has the power to challenge the status quo.

The power to lead in new directions against the grain of common thought.

It invites you question your own beliefs and pre conceived ideas.

The text at the top and bottom of the image serve to explain the concept to some degree.

When the soul is to return to Earth then it is given a special drink that wipes its memory of past lives. Then it is sent on a journey here along a (red) river.

I have done a study on coincidence. Last night I decided that I was going to call the music night I'm about to do RED, then the next day I found this.
