Start a studio? It is just possible. Why not?
Hypothesis: there are artists who would pay to explore the nexus between performing arts, martial arts, and meditation. That a "Theatre Dojo" teaching acting and improvisation as if this, too, was a martial art ("theaterdo") would draw customers.
Circumstance: Mr. Nelson and I are highly motivated and allegably qualified to address the subject, and to develop classes and programs and see where it takes us.
Location, Location, Location: an auspicious space in Hollywood appears, with an owner intrigued by the project. He asks to see a written proposal. A date is made to write a manifesto, and maybe a business plan.
Could this happen? Might we be celebrating the birth of a Theatre Dojo on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood?
