Fun: Ask everyone you know to name the Simpsons family members, then ask them the 5 aspects of the First Amendment.

This is one I never posted because I missed it by a couple weeks, but now I am because I'm putting together the materials for the TYWS proof listing.

Why Americans Know More About The Simpsons Than The Constitution
And why it is a benchmark of how much danger we are in

Paul Joseph Watson/Prison Planet.com | March 2 2006

More Americans can name Simpsons characters than they can the freedoms that the 1st Amendment upholds. This is a benchmark of how much danger the country is in and the blame can be laid with public education.

Only one in a thousand Americans can name all five first amendment freedoms. The BBC reports, "The names of American Idol TV show judges and popular advertising slogans also proved more memorable than the five freedoms - speech, religion, press, assembly and petition for redress of grievances."

This kind of poll gives aid and comfort to the enemy. The Globalists read this kind of thing and it only enhances their myopic zeal to dominate and enslave us for our own good. They have brainwashed themselves using Straussian theology to believe that they have a divine right to subjugate and rule stupid people for the good of the planet.

From the very foundation of the public school system the elite made their plans clear. The goal was to psychologically mould people to create mindless drones and bricks in the wall of the system, via learning monotonously by rote and the day being divided up by pavlovian bells.

In his 1905 dissertation for Columbia Teachers College, Elwood Cubberlythe future Dean of Education at Stanfordwrote that schools should be factories "in which raw products, children, are to be shaped and formed into finished products...manufactured like nails, and the specifications for manufacturing will come from government and industry."

Similarly, the Rockefeller Education Boardwhich funded the creation of numerous public schoolsissued a statement which read in part:

"In our dreams...people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hands. The present educational conventions [intellectual and character education] fade from our minds, and unhampered by tradition we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or men of science. We have not to raise up from among them authors, educators, poets or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians, nor lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen, of whom we have ample supply. The task we set before ourselves is very simple...we will organize children...and teach them to do in a perfect way the things their fathers and mothers are doing in an imperfect way."

These are the founders of the public education system in America. The agenda from the very start was to eliminate all forms of objective thought and use education to produce automatons of the state who would shrink from embracing higher forms of intellectual pursuit and truly understanding their role and potential to advance freedom in human society.

No wonder that today a portion of Americans think that the 1st Amendment includes the right to own a pet. Lack of sufficient education about our freedoms and where they came from puts the free world in peril and if we don't increase our efforts to inform and enlighten tyrants will not squander their opportunity to create a prison planet.

This is interesting...my whole life, my parents have emphasized on me the importance of reading. I didn't start watching TV regularly until about high school, and then it was the Daily Show. Any news I get is from reading either the newspaper or online.

And now that I'm trying it, I can only remember about four Simpson's characters. But I've never been a big fan of them, or a lot of TV shows for that matter.

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

We the People, in order to form a more perfect union know more about the Simpsons trivia than the government because it's more fun. We all memorize and write papers on the constitution in Junior High. Over the years, it just slips from your mind like those piano lessons when you were ten years old. Buffalo darln wont you come out tonight?
The sad truth is, after you read and even memorize the constitution, do the walls of beaurocracy and tyranical exploitation of the working man come crashing down? Do you "take the power back"? Really?

Perhaps the more enlightened members of society should spend more time educating than making articles that only stand poke fun at the average American. I see these articles all the time and they always lack one key detail, the info they mock others for not knowing. It's self rightious and self serving as it is clearly crafted not to educate, but to let the readers know they are either one of the wonderful smart people, or one of the idiots.

There is a reason this person wrote this, and a reason they think we need to know the constitution. Perhaps we should focus on that? Where have we been? Where are we now? Where are we going? What's the plan? Making fun is not making a difference.

The whole point is how can people defend rights they don't even know exist? How can you see a news blurb and realize they need to pay attention. Some people actually think owning a pet it a First Amendment right, therefore, when they see a headline that says "First Amendment attacked" they'll think 'o, I guess we cant own alligators as pets anymore' or something to that effect.

Further, as the article here states, the elite and such look at these and know just how much damage they can get away with. It's like the criminal that walks into a store; if he sees camera, alert employees and noticable plain clothes security people he probably wouldn't try to steal anything. If he sees no security and noone looking he'll go for it and probably get away with it.

Unfortunately most Americans will read and article like this and get their ego offended and post a big rant, which undermines the cause to undo this tragedy. It gets harder and harder each day for me to not just give up on this fucking society.

what does it mean to "redress a grievance"?
yeah, one of the stupid people.
btw, did you know that immigrants are required to have extensive knowledge of the US gov't. before they can get their green cards? at least they were when i was taking - and failing miserably - citizenship in highschool. it alarmed me even at that irreverent phase in my youth how little i - or any of my classmates - knew about our own government and history. why wasn't i taught this stuff from kindergarten up?!

What rant? I'm a calm, sane, thinking human being. (As many americans are)
...And perhaps the ego affected was yours?

If your point was to educate and defend the rights of the nation... what are you actually doing about it? Anything? Just saying that it's sad that it's that way, not including yourself as part of the problem... and furthmore, not working to a solution does nothing but stroke your own ego. "It's so sad that everyone else is so dumb... I'm gonna give up on society..." ...What a load.

My post made you want to give up on this society?
Maybe you shouldChange your name to ArroganceIsBliss...

Perhaps you would have been happier if I wrote:
"Wow, you are so smart" you would of liked my post.

10 bucks says you delete this and violate your own rights. :)

Honestly, I was never stressed those facts in school in any grade.  I was told there were amendments but not the 5 freedoms you named.  It's almost as if they didn't want me to know or peice it together myself.  Thank you for bringing this up, I'll be paying more attention now.

Your efforts to educate and enlighten are appreciated - don't mind the hecklers - they are trip-wires that always seem to get set when someone takes it upon themselves to make a difference.

Civics lesson: Part 2. You know what really irks me is how no one who is against the gay marriage amendment to the Constitution attacks it for its most blatant flaw. The US Constitution is a rule book for our government written by we the people. It is the rule of law for THEM, not US. The 18th amendment marked the most significant example of this concept being turned on its head. Quite simply, it is absolutely not the purpose of the Constitution to put restraints of ANY kind on the very same we the people who wrote it. Please spread this forgotten fact far and wide.

great blog! Keep it up!

As for education, you must educate yourself. You sure as hell can't rely on public schools! Textbook publishers will blatantly tell you that there are "taboo" topics that aren't discussed. If you ever get the priveledge of reading any works by a competent historian you will find out that there are so many whole in k-12 history textbooks.
