While I have given myself a promotion from "intern" to "social networking maven," I'm still confused by all of this "widget" business. Am I alone here? What exactly is a widget?
Well, for our purposes (and the purposes of this blog), a widget is a little box that we've embedded into our profile that does lots of stuff. And this thing is really neat-o, people.
In one little box, you have Ani info at your fingertips, including tour dates, news updates, music, graphics, and even video.
Check it:
Just click on the "grab it" button in the upper right hand corner, and you'll have tons of Ani stuff right on your own MySpace page. And the widget is so clever that it self-updates, so you never have to do anything but sit back and catch up with your favorite little folksinger.
And while you're checking out the widget, click on the video tab and check out the new video clip we've posted from the new
Live at Babeville concert DVD. It's a clip of Ani performing her brand-new song, "Present/Infant," and if my opinion counts for anything (it DOES) it's my new favorite song.
