Here it is, folks. Our 100th music release. Our 3rd anniversary was yesterday, and we're celebrating today with a compilation featuring previously unreleased material from nearly every member of the Self-Satisfied family, and a few new faces. Two discs, forty-three tracks, over two hours of music. Sarah DeGram made us a nifty little cover image. The first however-many-I-feel-like-it copies will come with a cardboard jacket featuring "artwork" by Levi Bailey. Here is the mind-melting tracklist:

This is a fucking amazing collection of music. I'm pissing-my-panties excited, and you should be, too. As far as the names you don't recognize: look for releases from Planet of ID and Elle Asdee in December, and Jabba, The Chanteymen, and Spit For Athena sometime next year...and more MORE MORE!!!
If I get all gushy and weepy, I won't know when to stop. Suffice it to say that Self-Satisfied is very important to me, and very important to the few people who bother to buy our releases. This has all been a lot of fun, and we can't see any reason to stop. We're shooting for 1000+ releases...that's why we leave that extra zero. We've made it to 100...let's see how far we can get before we all fucking die.
For Seattle people: On December 6th, you can go see Marc Palm's (and other artists') 30 paintings in 30 days for the Forgotten Works challenge. There's some details HERE. If you haven't seen the paintings yet (shame, shame), LOOK HERE.
Back to Michigan: Self-Satisfied artists Clear Days Always, The Chanteymen, and Bradley Post (performing as Gary Neason) will all be sharing the stage at Kraftbrau Brewery tomorrow (Wednesday, November 21, 2007) for the first and last time. HERE is a flyer. There will be copies of the new compilation available, so bring your fucking inheritance money, Richie Rich. Also at Kraftbrau: Friction Records Fest on December 7. In other Friction Records news, owner Jeff Vandenberg and his sister have opened The Meanwhile Bar. Check it out if you're in the Grand Rapids, MI area.
Also in Grand Rapids: On December 21, members of The Frenchie Perlis Organization (including Brandon Labelle), Clear Days Always, and Coin, alongside a few other special guests, will be performing acoustic sets at the DAAC. A flyer and more information will be up soon on the Clear Days Always MySpace.
