Current mood:  crushed
Hey there!

Surprise!!  I'm at the airport again!) Sitting across from four strange people staring at me... I must look 'too Hollywood' in the Minneapolis airport... I have my latte and my Blackberry to the right of me - and my computer and headphones out...

Or maybe I look like I'm on drugs...

I am pretty tired....

I make NO effort to look pretty at the airport... I enjoy wearing random shit - and rarely run into people I know... It's very freeing. Ha ha...

Man - I don't know if I'm going nuts - or maybe the stars are in some kinda weird position... But I am soooooo stuck in my head lately... Maybe it's coming off of tour, I dunno...

All I know is I feel very distant from everyone - and just wanna be alone all the time... Sounds like it's time to rent a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Georgia and WRITE A RECORD!!

Cool!  My flight is delayed! Shitballs - I might be blogging all day now!)

I'm on my way to San Diego to play the Hard Rock... I'm really excited about that one... I remember wearing my dad's oversized Hard Rock shirt in middle school.

Yeah - I was pretty cool! HA!

Anyway------

I hope yall are having a good day so far - feel free to comment- I'M REALLY BORED!!!!!

It's all good Meiko. We all can get like that every now and again. The important thing to remember (that we sometimes forget) is to not push away those who truly care about you. And although all your fans care (and we do) I mean family and close friends.

So have a safe flight back to Cali, remember there are those who care, and bring down the house at the Hard Rock!

i find that airports pretty much exist to feed my hunger for crappy magazines. it's a vice; i usually use travel as an excuse to indulge in it.

am going to buy your record :)

I love airports! I think it's for the strange intersections that they are...jetlagged people heading in every which direction to places all over the globe...there's really no other place like them. And as far as the Blue Ridge Mtns go....THEY RULE! I live in Asheville, NC and I wake up to sweet mtn views daily. Oldest mtns in the world supposedly. I'm gonna send your sister some of my company's organic candy bars for her fancy fashion show gift bags I think. What...you said you were bored. Travel ragged and haggard. Peace, love and Obama.

It's a thing with Louisiana State University people that when you go to airports you have to wear something that has to do with the college. I kid you not, I have met people wearing LSU apparel in the British Virgin Islands and Alaska. It's kind of scary.

Meiko,
Please take as many pictures as possible, how about photography as a hobby? It's really nice to travel with you through your words...good to insist on creating alone the time. I really enjoy my alone time even though there are friends who will write me and say "i thought we were friends" as if am supposed to allow people to take over all my time and not take time out to reflect and grow, smile.

Thanks for the "Piano Song" and "Sleep" I enjoy those two babies of yours.

Layed over, Philly airport, dead iPod, on my Bday, watching a teenage love saga unravel across from me....and a bird poops on my new denim jacket. Yes, IN the airport.
GOTSTA LOVE AIRPORT TERMINAL LIVING! (and Tide-To-Go pens, WOOT WOOT!)

Here's to random birds, thoughts, and cabin rentals in the mountains! Enjoy Hard Rock :)

Being on the road is a bitch; It's tiring, you never know if you're going to have a good meal, your sleep schedule gets all screwed up, you don't know what kind of crowd is going to be at the next show, you have to converse with people that turn out to be weirdos that you can't shake, even being with the people you know and love becomes tedious....
God, I miss the road!
You ought to have a boatload of new material in your head once the tour is over and you're rested up. I'm looking forward to hearing it.
Download "Leaving on a Jet Plane" by Peter, Paul, and Mary if you can.
Sounds like it will fit your mood perfectly.

Just want to let you know how amazing you were in Seattle Saturday night.
I really enjoyed getting to chat with you a little bit afterward, also.
I wish I was going to be in San Diego tonight!
Seattle is dark and dreary today, and I'd kill for some sunshine!

You can't be crazy if you're thinkin' about a cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains...that's just plain sane! Remember, when in the Minneapolis airport, if you have to use the facilities, do NOT use the wide stance...they arrest important people for that. Love your blogs...keep 'em coming!

Ok now this might not be the awnser you want but here it goes you are now a star baby and you are distant from everyone THATS WHY THEY CALL IT BEING A STAR if you werent set apart from regular people they would call it being a ROCK and it only gets worse from here you will be kept away from everbody bucause nobody can be trusted.

Dont forget you can hold back the tide a little in the early years. My advice to you is enjoy the fact that your one of the shining lights in the sky and try to share the lime light with the little people that is the only thing that will keep you from loosing all normalcy in your life.

Do not lock yourself away in a cabin that will only make it worse you will become you own worst nightmare stay in the sun and go visit the people in your life that you love.

On the way home play yourself some Green Day Boulevard of Broken Dreams

BIG HUGS from NYC
Stay cool baby!!!

Advice from my sister: to get rid of a starer, just stare back for a second, make a face, then look away. They'll think you're crazy and will stop looking.... maybe. :)

Was at the HC last night and heard a remix of "Heard It All Before" playing. Please tell me you're releasing an EP or B-side type of album. I'd really like to hear it again.

Being a performer/artist makes it difficult to find time for just you, and you might not be aware of it all the time. If you feel the need to pull away for awhile, do it. Everyone needs time to recharge. And if you create a brilliant new record to share, it's all good. :D

Being a star is not easy! Get to those Blue Ridge Mountains! That is some beautiful territory up there. Drove all through them this past summer. Its a world inside of a world. I know you could wright some good stuff there. Don't let that normal baggy everyday life getaway from you either. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Shout back sometime soon.
