Ahhhh-

I'm still in Roberta, GA, enjoying the sweet essence of the Dirrrrrrrrty Dirrrrrrty...

I love this place soooo much... I've been totally chilling, which is super important ...and exactly what I needed. The past few nights, I've been hanging out at my favorite bar, "The Hummingbird" in Macon, and watching a lot of local bands... It's been cool - I love the hip-hop around here... It's the shizzle.

There is nothing like it.

I got up this afternoon (ha ha) and went to pick out a xmas tree with my dad.. His friend owns a xmas tree farm - so we rode around and found the perfect one! I managed to talk him into getting a really big tree. I told him, "The bigger the tree the better the xmas." I made that up obviously, but he went for it!)

Although things are pretty fricken great - I managed to lose my brand new awesome iPod!  FARKIN SHITBALLS!  Some homeless dude in Macon is jamming out to Radiohead... I guess I have to look at that as a positive thing...

I'm laying in my bed in my room that I grew up in... I feel really lucky to be able to come back here... I'm glad my parents never moved ...or that a tornado didn't destroy it... I can come back here and have all these memories... My glow in the dark stars are still on my ceiling and my ugly-ass polyester fly collar shirts are still in the closet. Ha ha!

So - tonight - I'm giving my liver a break... I'm gonna watch random History Channel shows with my dad... which is the whole reason I'm here in the first place...

Have a goooood night and GO LOOK OUTSIDE!  Jupiter and Venus can be seen by the moon for tonight only... Next time it happens is in 50 years...

Take it greasey.

Ok, so I may be stupid, but did you post this from the future? Your blog posted December 1st. Does that mean that we can see venus tonight or tomorrow night? Did you see the Einstein History Channel special? I thought it was neato to the....fluffy cheese. And remember, if you want to visit Athens...

Chica, when are you coming to FL? I missed you the last time you were here on tour.

I did that with my dad once. I talked him into a super gigantic xmas tree and it wouldn't fit in the house!! We had to cut the top off... It was still really pretty! lol

Sorry to hear about your ipod. Sadly.....i do not even own one. I am behind on the times! lol. I do not even own a cell phone. How bad is that? I am glad, that you get to spend time with your family. Did you get the best tree on the lot? It is funny, that you have these stars on your ceiling. My stars are still there as well. At least they were last time i checked. It is funny, how some things never change. Anyways....enjoy the time with your family. Take care. Bye.

Hey Meiko, I'm in the high desert city of Victorville, Ca. It's about 45 degrees, and the Moon, Venus and Jupiter night visual is amazing. There's not a cloud in the sky. I'm at 3,500 feet above sea level, and am surrounded by Big Bear Mountain and Wrightwood. The stars are truly awesome tonight. Tomorrow night is supposed to be even brighter. lol., Take care, Andy C.

I wish I could go home again. I'm older, and my parents are still alive and living in the house I finished growing up in, but they are in poor health and the house is run down. They don't want us coming to visit. They live like hermits these days. So all my Christmas memories are just that... memories. I am also single and have no kids and don't own my own home. So, I sometimes go deep into fantasy at Christmas remembering the "good old days" when I was young and safe and had money. And family.

Say it, Meeks-Dorothy. No place like home, right? :)

Sorry about your iPod. I'd probably cry if I lost mine. Hopefully, you'll get a better one to replace it.

Ah, shizzle. :( The night is foggy, so I have to stick around for the next alignment in 50 years. Wish me luck.

Glad your home visit did you lots of good. :D

I'm glad you are actually getting some R&R out there in the dirty South . . . I see you are sleeping in. Must be the glow in the dark stars that keep you snoozing. Ha ha. Lazy ass : )

First, you lose your toothbrush and now your ipod. What next? I would be so embarrassed if I lost my ipod . . . I've got tons of pictures, movies, songs, porn, etc. downloaded on that piece of shit. It's my life when I am away from home . . . I couldn't live without it. Pretty sad . . . huh? Maybe, Santa will give you a new ipod for X-mas. Have you been a good girl this year?

I hate lint. Can you tell I am waiting for my laundry to dry? It takes forever and I'm loosing my beauty sleep. Hee Hee! I'm in such a weird mood tonight . . . probably because I took a nap earlier today. Or maybe someone slipped a little something into my tea. Either way I'm feeling pretty good.

Naughty night!

Dude..that sucks about your IPOD. Macon can be a rough ass town. So those stars were they the ones that all the kids had back then? I never did that. but in college I heard that you could spray woolite on your ceiling and then use a black lite for trippy shit.. never did that either..

bigger the tree the better the Christmas. So if you have no tree what does that mean?

have fun in ROberta.. as they say down there. Come up to Atlanta again and play an "open mic night" show somewhere, that would be FUNNY!!!
