Legendary New York death pioneers SUFFOCATION will release their new album, Blood Oath, in Europe on July 3rd and in North America on July 14th via Nuclear Blast Records.



Blood Oath will be available in three exclusive formats to the North American territory. In addition to the standard retail version, there will be a mail-order edition available exclusively through the Nuclear Blast US web store (http://store.nuclearblastusa.com/Artist/Suffocation/10147), and a digital version through iTunes. SUFFOCATION entered the studio on January 31 with Joe Cincotta (who worked on the band's last two releases) to begin recording Blood Oath.

The follow-up to 2006's self-titled record was mixed by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH) and cover artwork was once again brought to life by Jon Zig (DEEDS OF FLESH, DISGORGE, GORGASM).
