Current mood:  working

Hello everyone... I haven't blogged in a long time because, well...
I've been in Boston/Virginia directing my third movie!

And now I am back in LA and we have officially wrapped production on
The Box.

It was an amazing experience working with Cameron Diaz, James Marsden,
Frank Langella and the entire supporting cast and crew.
My editors have been working non-stop, and we are beginning to work on
the visual effects, signing a composer, etc.

As soon as Warner Bros. gives us a release date I will let you know...

In the meantime... the DVD for Southland Tales comes out March 18th.

And here is a cool article from our great friends at NASA.

Best,

RK

Can't wait to see The Box. Sounds awesome. Why no commentary on the Southland Tales DVD?

point me in the direction of a line to stand in...
it can be "The Box" at the other end, or "Southland"
I'm cool either way

Great news. I recently purchased the 80's Twilight Zone ONE season one and watched the "Button, Button" episode. It was really interesting, I can't wait to see your version on the big screen!

As I live in the UK (even worse, England) I'm yet to see Southland Tales as it wasn't released in any of the local cinemas. I can't wait for the DVD release but, as this is England we're talking about, I don't know if we'll get it as soon as March. Heres to hoping so.

All the best on posting The Box.

J.

I'm so excited! Southland Tales was epic. I was upset it didn't get the recognition it deserved. But Donnie Darko didn't either did it? Guess that's how it works. Good luck in all your future endeavors. I'm behind you 100%.
Thanks for giving what you have, and doing what you do.

I'm really looking foreword to it. I am eagerly anticipating Southland Tales on DVD as well. I don't know what all the fuss was about. Either people are too stupid to comprehend it, or the critics are too big of pussies to say that they liked it. Probably both.
Keep up the good work,
Jason
