Man what a fun night. Gar really does know how to put on a show. Who would have thought from the humble beginnings of Gar's first project Monkey Pussy that we would be today checking him out at a CD release party. I can remember when he made this voice box, it was some type of audio minipulation device that he covered in a panarama of disected stuffed animals bound together, it looked fuckin rad and souded even cooler. I really didn't know what to think of it the first time, but I knew it was gonna be something different and that was what it was all about, being different. Be it his artwork, which even from the beginning we all could tell would be of  his own vision and liking. To his music, that being different is just a way of life. Some of us just don't have the forsight or vision to stick to our guns and follow our hearts, but I feel that GAr does and has and will. If you were at the release you could just see how many people from the way back machine stopped by and payed respect to GaR and the other artists that were there celebrating something all of use have in common our Diversity. I wish my damn batteries didn't die on me or there would be a shit load more of alot of people out there I didn't get to capture on my digital imaging device. I'm sure we will have to stay tuned to see what exactly Gar has in store for us next and I hope I get to be there and see it along with all of you out there. As Hank said "Here's to all my Friends"
