Tomorrow I head home. Which is amazing in itself. We start writing Wednesday! It's finally our chance to sit down and collect all of our ideas for our new record! It should be fun. It's amazing how being honest sucks sometimes though. Think about this. You're in a band and you're writing a lot of jams. You're friend brings you a song that he or she may have worked on for a horribly long time and put every ounce of themselves into it. You hear it. You judge it and realize you don't like it one bit. Then you have to tell your friend, whoever he or she may be, no matter how long they may have cherished it before handing it to you that you hate it. It's a shitty feeling, but that's what writing is all about. You only want to play the best regardless if you make anyone feel like shit. Everything we're bringing on our next record are things we love or things we're saying "fuck yeah" about. If we can't feel it how should we expect you too. But, that's what's we'll be doing this week. I hope you guys dig our new Myspace layout. :)

you know what else sucks?
absolutely loving a song and not being able to express your gratitude that it was created.
or knowing that there's pretty much no way to get in touch with the person who wrote it to thank them.
and by that, i mean, i love every single one of your songs. every time i listen to one, i'm filled with so much passion. but it's more than that, that i can't explain.
i'm so excited for the new album! part of me hopes your songs are happier ones, because then i would feel like you guys are happier than you were. but, part of me doesn't want you to change because i can relate so much to your old stuff.
