To the south of Prague lies Cesky Krumlov (or Chesky Krumlov depending where you look). It's a UNESCO town, which means it is a wonderful little spot on the globe that everyone should take the opportunity to get to. I read about it and thought it would be great to see. There's a castle and a little river running through town that you can go tubing down. Sweet.

It's not far from Prague, unless there's construction, which there was. What was supposed to be a three-hour ride turned out to be more like six. On the bus sitting next to me tho was a Korean student. Thousand miles away from Seoul and here I am by a Korean. What's the chances of that. We talked and were both surprised. Even more surprised to find out we were staying at the same hostel. It's a small world.

It started to rain soon after we got there so we went and got food.

Then we wandered around a bit up to the castle.

The moat contained a bear

She added her shoe to this

By the time we got to the top, it was getting dark, but a rainbow appeared

The gardens had just closed, and we were sad about that, but then we saw some people entering through another gate. We went in with them. Turned out they were actors and stagehands getting together for a play. We wandered away and looked around until a guard came and escorted us out.

You couldn't imagine a more enchanting day than that. I've tried contacting Sohyeung since coming back, but without any luck. Oh well.
