Thanks so much to Shadowline & Image Comics for providing us with the opportunity, and thanks to Bob LeFerve for debuting his comic with us. Bob has written a special guest blog for the occasion, followed by information on how you can get your hands on ALETHEIA. Take it away, Bob...
I think the very definition of a "blog" is to give an insight into the inner thoughts of a "blogger". I guess the subject matter of a blog can be any given topic. The topic I pick is you. All of us comic folk are special people. The very nature of what we do can be perceived as unconventional, so in honor of that, I write this. If you've ever delivered pizza's, gone to college to make your family happy, been heartbroken at the highest point in your life, traveled the country to find yourself and reach your dreams, worked at a video game store, made coffee for people that wore scarfs on a sunny day, been a waiter at a global restaurant chain, been told to stop drawing silly pictures, lived in a tent inside of an apartment to avoid cockroaches, woke up in countries other then your own because of a crazy night, lived out of a U-Haul just to achieve your goals at creating the most ultimate comic ever made… then Aletheia is the comic for you.

I've done everything you've read above, and I believe many of those things we share in common; or at least can relate to and understand. All of this has led me to you, and everything above I did while creating Aletheia.  This comic is for the pizza delivery boy who sits at home every night reading comics. This comic is for the barista who can draw like a god and can illustrate the perfect action scene but has never been published. If you get it, then you get it!!!

In conclusion I just want to say thank you to Myspace Comic Books for featuring my comic Aletheia and most importantly to Shadowline/Image for giving me the opportunity to have a voice.

Meh, to me, it was kinda confusing - just the action and stuff; I didn't quite understand what was going on. And, she seems to be Afro-American - I find that kinda strange since the story seems to revolve around Greek mythology. But then, I guess it doesn't really matter.

But then, I'm not used to the Shadowline/Image/Bob Lefevre-..style.. - that might have something to do with it! But, either way, this one wouldn't be my 1st pick in a bookstore! Thanks anyway!

This comic book is going to be amazing. To me, the art is very powerful, as is the writing. Having a comic book come out that is about Mythology, and the gods. It is great, I could not get over the art though. And how can anybody say it is confusing, seriously. Must be to confusing for the simple/closed minded kind of people. I agree with the above post about the girl being not white, and being African American.
It adds ..style.. to the pages, gives the book itself attitude, something that no book has seen in awhile. I cannot wait to pick up the first issue, along with the ones that follow. Great job Bob, cannot wait.

One thing is for certain, this guy can draw action scenes.

Kind of like a Greek-Inspired-Tag-Mural-In-A-Comic-Book.

I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It's nice and it definitely has a good story line started but I don't know if I would buy this is the store.

It's a very fast paced comic that goes from one thing to another very quickly. That is a good thing and a bad thing when you are writing a comicbook. Sooner or later it will have to slow down and when that happens the art will slow down as well...then you will see if the comic is all that it is worth.

Not bad for a first run...Not one that I would buy off the rack "yet" but it is one that I will continue to look at over the next couple of months.
