Look at it this way. The guy that runs the store I buy my comics in says that whoever winds up being batman after RIP, it'll be Bruce again after Final Crisis.

I guess I am going to be the bad guy here. Maybe I am just jaded by every new additional batman feature, but then again, I really like this character, and am just as excited as everyone else to see anything new come out. But this really isn't that much of a revamp. I am not overtly bashing here, it just reminds me of the 1950's batmobile minus the bat head on the front. To quote marv from sin city "new cars all look like electric shavers" Give me something a little more hi tech.

It doesn't look very Bat-ish. I don't like it as a Batmobile.

It's like the Tumbler from Batman Begins. A cool vehicle, but not a good Batmobile.

Well, let's not go *that* far. You've got 70+ years of stupidity to draw from.

Hal Jordan as Parallax comes to mind. Besides, Bruce Wayne isn't going to die. Didio already said so.

Mr. Girl is the Self Defeatist Mustache Twist

It worked for Cap (and Superman back in the day)...I still think this title is more symbolic than literal...someone said on a message board "It doesn't say RIP Bruce Wayne." And considering Morrison's m.o., I think it just means a shift in what Batman is suppose to mean to Bruce Wayne.

I'm sorry. but... That's it? I mean I'd personally love to drive the thing. But I'm a girl. Looks like a mid-40's woman-with-a-mid-life-crisis car. Still, all cars aside... I'm wondering what they're going to do about the RIP. It'll be a tough one to pull off and not piss off all the readers.

*yawn* That's the "new" Batmobile?!? Looks just like a dozen other versions of the Batmobile we've seen before.

i.e. Take a sportscar, add some tailfins, a bat head on the front, and slap a bat symbol on the hubcaps.

DC won't kill Bruce Wayne. I hope they remember how much everyone hated it the last time they replaced Batman.

I see a bit of the Cadillac CTS in that front end...it's hard to make out anything else, but it looks good. I had gotten so used to the long, massive Batmobile with the massive turbine - Tim Burton, you are a true artist! - that the idea of a compact, sleek Batmobile almost makes me feel that it's somehow...lacking. But then, there's the Batmobile from "The Batman" on Fox, and that Batmobile is sleek and very futuristic, not long and bulky at all, and it's actually pretty cool.

I like this one. I especially like the return of the red on black color scheme made famous by the "Batman" television series of the 60's...hey, it was cheesy, but it was still the coolest thing on TV at the time, and while I might not have grown up watching it in the 60's - I'm not THAT old...yet! - I definitely remember watching reruns on syndication.
The black and red make a nice contrast, and this one has my vote!
