Another seminal moment for Batman/DC. Grande kudos to Gaiman and Kubert for taking Batman - and perhaps all of comicdom - to the next level. I'm both chilled and thrilled with anticipation. And only in the pages of Batman . . . :-0 . . . is it fitting.

I've wanted to have Gaiman take on Batman ever since his off-the-cuff storytelling with Kurt Busiek so many years ago.
Now there's another great idea for you!!

Something about the last line in this preview ("I was here at the start of it all, Miss Kyle. I'm nt going to miss the end.") seems quintessentially Neil Gaiman. I don't normally read Batman, but count me in!

Hey man, have you even been reading Green Lantern. Geoff Johns is doing some amazing stuff with that. I don't know about this though. I think the timing is a little too close to the Captain America death to seem original to me.

when they bought back Hal (my fave DC hero) true. but its losing its way again :( countdown was a waste of print in my book... what we gained in all the books could have been covered in 200 pages (ignoring the guest stars in the 'search for Ray Palmer' which they killed most of) think at the begging bruce is speaking (in the boxes) to one of the ENDLESS? 'death' or 'dream'... at first i thought it could be dead-man again. but it is Neil and an female OA has been in sandman. i want steve rogers to return and put an end to the coming 'dark rein' ... hes been gone too long.
back in the day jean gray would have come back 3 times in the same space of time!
