Hello all!

This is a picture of one of my biggest fans in New York "Little Bobby" whos grandfather wrote to me saying....
My wife and I have the pleasure of watching him every day while his parents work. The first words he says every day when he arrives at our house is "Put Pam on the TV". I put you Live at the Renaissance Center DVD on for him and he starts drumming. Sometimes for a change, he wants to see the show I taped from the Grand Ole Opry when your dad was introduced as a member. When he watches you spin on the Ring of Fire song, he says "Pam, don't get dizzy". In our house you rate above Dora the Explorer, Sponge Bob Squarepants, and the Rhonda Vincent DVD he watches sometimes. He also has your DVD at his home too. His mother stayed home today because he was sick, but when we called this afternoon to check on him, he started to drum a little. So we know he's feeling better. If you ever need a new drummer in a couple of years...remember little Bobby and believe me, he knows all your songs!

This is how they get started. My son at 2 yrs. old went around with a flyswatter and a quarter, playing guitar, keeping perfect time. My grandson at the same age played drums on anything and everything. Both are in the music business now. Southern Mix. Charleston, WV.

My four-year-old is already "making" songs. He doesn't "write" them, he says, because he can't write the words, so he just "makes" them.
There's nothing sweeter and more rewarding than watching a child enjoy music!

Hey Pam,
To bad you couldn't see little Bobby in action playing his favorite Pam song "Don't Tell Me What To Do" which he's drumming too right now! That's a perfect title for him because he has a mind of his own even at 2 years old. I hope you enjoyed seeing the other pictures I sent of him because he's really a cute little guy! If one of your future tours brings you near Buffalo, NY we'll have to take him to see you in person.
We hope you have a great time in Ireland and have a safe trip home!
"Bobby's" proud grandfather

Hi Pam, Thats exactly how I got started except it was a long long time ago in a place far far away where there were no DVDs or DVD players, or color TV, or digital converter boxes..... anyway... It was Hee Haw and Lee Mace's Ozark Opry records eons ago, LOL.

Looks like he has a strong matched grip. Great rim shot technique.

I miss you Pam!!!

Ms. Tillis - I am Bobby's mom and am deeply touched by your thoughtfulness - not only for putting his picture up on your blog but also for sending him a personalized autographed photo of you. He was so happy and so proud when he saw that. The first thing he wanted to do was take the picture downstairs and set it up next to his drums so he could play along side you.

You have made a little boy very happy and, as a result, made his family very happy as well.
Thank you so much!
