	Mark Mark Brown	From the sounds of it, James doesn't seem terribly disappointed. When the idea of the reunion first came up, Billy took out a full page ad in the Chicago Tribune announcing plans to reform the Pumpkins and inviting the other members back on board. Jimmy replied and James apparently didn't. I'm very sure that James could not have possibly missed the buzz surrounding this and apparently he doesn't want to be involved with the Pumpkins again. Do I think this is a very respectable way to go about it instead of Billy personally contacting them? No, but the evidence still stands that James did not want to be on board. James and Billy aren't exactly on the best terms anyway, so maybe it's for the better that he is not affiliated with Billy any more. He seems to be content working on his own projects. While James is definitely a Pumpkin and definitely will be missed, the new members seem to be doing fine. They play well, contribute nicely to the vibe and sound of the band, and are as enthusiastic as they could be about the ordeal. Besides, one of the biggest factors in the Pumpkins is the chemistry between Billy and Jimmy. While this was present in Zwan, one thing was missing - the attitude; being able to put heart and soul into your work. It definitely seems to be back and things are picking up again. Was Billy forsaking D'arcy when she left after the recording of Machina on her own personal terms? No, it was her decision not to play with the band any more. 	Sgt. Pepper	I still remember getting my first copy of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness (on cassette!) when I was 15. I used to do my homework and rewind the first four tracks over and over again. Hearing Zero was like a religious experience to me. It would be a month before I made it through to Here is No Why. Seeing this performance was very special. Billy's vocals sound so much more mature, and his guitar is simply amazing. Seeing Ginger singing was nice, and Jeff...wow! His solos were absolutely spot on. Not to mention that shriek at the end of the song. Great stuff guys. Like users above have said, a double DVD of the December 2nd, 2000 Metro show and the new Paris show would be beyond belief!   Posted by Sgt.
