The Northern New Mexico "Little l" libertarians will be meeting once again this Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:30 PM, at Gabriel's Restaurant, 4 Banana Lane, Santa Fe -- 505-455-7000 See the map here. (located about 10 minutes north of downtown Santa Fe).

We will be continuing on conversation for advancing libertarian principles in the social and political milieu. I am interested in doing a send-up of Bill Richardson, especially now that he has announced for president. A little fun with guerilla theater, or something . . . as a template for such an event, I offer this video of recent send-up of Halliburton:

houston.indymedia.org/news/2007/05/58287.php

Please watch it and bring your ideas. We might get some nice press from this: I think they'd find it irresistible, even as they are mostly Richardson's shills. And it will be FUN to put on!

As long as we are addressing presidential bids, we might talk about Ron Paul's advancing bid. He participated in a presidential debate with their Republican candidates recently, and really stirred things up when he suggested US foreign policy had something to do with 9/11. (www.givemeliberty.org/FreedomDrive/Redress/PetitionAidToIsrael.htm Duh!) The well-known libertarian writer, Karen Kwiatkowski, has a nice article with links to video of the debate and follow-up with Wolf Blitzer -- Ron Paul Rocks!

Karen herself is an amazing woman, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel with extensive experience at the Pentagon, a ferociously anti-war libertarian writer, and a regular contributor to LewRockwell.com. You won't find a better, more knowledgeable critic of the Military-Industrial-Congressional Complex than Karen.

Maybe the guerilla theater can combine some send-up elements with advocacy for Ron Paul.

Everyone is welcome, and please bring guests. This is not a Libertarian Party event, but is in support of libertarian principles, which do not have anything to do with electing people to public office.

Regards,
Frank Martin
