Hey everyone-

I know it's been a while since I last posted. I've actually been busy finishing up the latest Sun and Jin flashback, entitled 'D.O.C.' (but some of you knew that already(!)). Thanks to all of you who asked me about it.
This one was a tough one I have to say. After we finished shooting all of my flashback scenes, a few days later we found out that there was a problem with the film. After much debate and investigation, it was decided that the only solution was to go back and reshoot all of my scenes. ALL OF THEM. Not the greatest news for an actor -or anyone with the show- to hear. We were all really happy with the footage we got the first time, so to have to re-shoot was a little heartbreaking. On top of that, we had some heavy rains in Hawaii this week, so our outdoor work got delayed as well. Double whammy. I guess that's how it goes sometimes when you're filming in paradise, right?
Thankfully there is a happy ending. In he end we went back and got everything we needed to, and in some cases, the scenes might even be a little better than the first go round. Either way, I think fans of Sun and Jin will be happy with this one. I know I am.
It's scheduled to air April 25 in the States. Hope you'll all tune in.

Cool can't wait to see and we fans do appericate all you had to put into getting it done, at least i do. They need to write in more smiles for your part cause you have a beautiful smile, I just love it. You have a great day....

Thanks for the latest news.  It's always interesting to hear the background info on how our favorite scenes/shows are created.

Awesome job on the show...we look forward to continuing the adventure with you and the rest of the cast.

Yay!  More J & S time!  The last couple episodes have been great to have you back on the air!  My Mom and I think it's hilarious when you guys are just speaking Korean and there are no subtitles - like, what do non-k-speaking people think?  It makes perfect sense in Korean, but the rest of the audience just has to guess what the heck you're saying!  Lost is the ONLY show my Mom and I watch together!

Thank you for the update - can't wait for the flashbacks!;)

I truly look forward every week to Wednesday nights. I stay up till LOST goes off, watching and recording the show with my vcr, pausing it during commercials LOL It has been GREAT, the last few weeks, seeing Jin and Sun and the rest of the original cast, working together and of course going off on their own, as Kate, Sayid and Locke have done. It will be terrific to see another Jin and Sun-centric episode! I'm sorry that you had to film your scenes again, but I'm sure you're glad they might even have turned out better than the first try at them. Mahalo!

Cool, thanks for the update Daniel.

I absolutely love the Sun & Jin storyline and I am SOOOOO impressed with your language skills. I love the show and can't help but be amazed that you guys have to keep going backwards and forwards with characters. (Without sounding a little too butt kissing.) It just emphasizes your talent an it's majorly appreciated.

Great news (the upcoming episode, not the reshoot)!  It's about time Jin got a little more air time.  Boy do I ever remember those infamous February/March rainstorms.  Feels like things will never dry out.

I agree with Crsytal that you do have a very beautiful smile, and when you frown, I feel you are a very sad soul, well in the show perhaps.

You're eyes are the window to your soul, it is what you make of your life that brings out the very best in you as an actor.

I studied acting and it's ok but I believe it's not for me,I believe writing is my fortay, but to watch you and study your facial expressions, I can tell if it's real or put on, some people have it and others need work and you my dear are flawless.

I can hardly wait for tonight!

Thanks for the update, DDK. As for what do the non-Korean-speaking people think when there are no sub-titles; DDK and Yunjin are so good, we know exactly what they are saying. Can't wait for DOC. Will have a Sun and Jin marathon leading up to April 25.

Thanks for the update, Daniel.  Sorry about the reshoot.  I guess you just never know when you're gonna get a bad batch of film stock or whatever.  Can't wait to see it.  I've been longing for more Sun and Jin footage.

There are reasons I never wanted to go into acting.  I'm quite happy to be a fan, thank you very much. :)

Sorry you had to go through that, but I'm sure the episode will be fantastic.  This season is just getting better and better.

Am I the only one who hasn't figure out what "D.O.C" stand for?    I can be remarkably clueless sometimes.

Much as I love Lost, I hope to see you in some other projects.  I like being able to understand you when you talk. LOL!  And you make a great villain.  :D
