Hi there. It's been a while since I've written in here.
Lately I've been crazy busy that I feel like I'm going to die (>_<).
As always, I'm totally wrapped up in music.

Allow me to make an announcement!
As I’ve mentioned before, RISE TO COSMIC DANCE, the first DVD I’ve released
as the solo artist SUGIZO in quite some time, will be on sale March 25.
I wanted to take the feeling of that concert in December when the audience
and I ascended to the cosmos,
and condense it and vacuum seal as much of it as possible in this DVD.
I wanted to get rid of everything unessential,
while extracting out the entire core of that blissful experience.
I was also very concerned with creating a high quality piece of work rather than a
simple video record of the event.

This DVD is a visual representation of the present ideal form of “SUGIZO music”
– a crazy blend of rock, jazz, techno, trance, dub, psychedelic, ambient, and avant-garde
that belongs to no genre.
This inspiration is fused together into sound that contains my will and intentions.
I feel like this DVD became a true compilation of the “SUGIZO music”
that will show us the path to the future.

I have confidence to say that this DVD – a crystallization of sound, video, light, words,
and my expressive power – is a true picture of the artist named SUGIZO,
and I hope that everyone watches it. I think that you’ll find it interesting.
And let’s definitely keep on soaring to a world of ecstasy, to the cosmos, together…


There’s one other thing I want to mention: in a fantastic coincidence,
ECTON x SUGIZO Rise to Heaven on Earth, a book of my dialogues with Ecton
is being released on March 25, the same day as the DVD
(actually, the DVD sales date was simply postponed…) For the past twenty years or so,
Ecton has served as something of an omniscient presence
and had a huge psychological influence on me.

I’ve learned so much from the wisdom contained in his nearly twenty books.
To me, he’s like a guide or a guardian angel – something that transcends the flesh.
It was wonderful enough to be able to speak directly with him,
but I'm even happier that we get to share those dialogues with the world.  
I’m totally thrilled and never though that such a thing would happen.

Ecton, who comes to us through Richard Lavin (one of the foremost channelers in the world),
is full of an endless, infinite love.
To bring happiness to the world, he teaches us how to live with strength
and guides us with amazingly precise words.

This book is a condensed version of all the wisdom and intelligence I wanted to know.
It’s exactly the type of book I would want to read, and I think it’s a beautiful
and outstanding piece of work. I wish that everyone on the planet would read it seriously,
because I’d love it if everyone could encounter the wisdom contained in it!  
I want to share the true, important knowledge that is necessary to live in this world.
I hope that you all read this book, because it’s a treasure full of values
and wisdom that are worth being shared with as many people as possible.

みんな元気？久しぶりに書いてます。ホントに久しぶり・・・。
このところ、死ぬかと思うくらい忙しかった (>_<)。
まあ、いつものことなんだけど、超音楽漬けの日々だよ。。。


宣伝させてね。

既に発表されているように
SUGIZOとして本当に久々のライヴDVD
「RISE TO COSMIC DANCE」が３／２５日にリリースされる。

去年の１２月に行われたライヴを作品化したこのDVDは
オーディエンスのみんなと共に宇宙へぶっ飛んだあの日の、
あの感触を可能な限りリアルに、より濃密に凝縮して真空パックしたかった。
無駄を一切省いて、あの至福の時の「核」をできるだけ余すところなく抽出したかった。
同時にただの「記録」映像ではなく「作品」としての気高さにこだわりたかった。

現時点でのSUGIZO MUSICのあるべき姿がすべて流れ込んだこの映像作品は
RockもJazzも、TechnoもTranceも、DubもPsychedelicも、AmbientもAvant-gardeも、
どれもゴチャ混ぜで、でもどこにも属さない。
インスピレーションのままフュージュンされて、俺の意思を運ぶただの「音」。
それはこれからの俺の、俺達の道を示唆してくれる、
SUGIZO MUSICの集大成的なモノになったかもしれない。

これがSUGIZOの表現だと自信を持って言える、
音、映像、光、言葉、俺が持ち得る限りの表現を結実させた今回の作品、
ぜひみんなに体験してもらいたい！　
メチャクチャ興味深いと思うから！
そしてこれからもよりぶっ飛んだ恍惚の世界へ、宇宙へ一緒に。。。



そして今回はもうひとつ。
奇しくもDVDと同じ３／２５に（といってもDVDの発売が延期になったからだが・・・）、
俺が２０年あまり前から精神性の意味において大きな影響を受けた存在であり、
俺からしてみたら究極の全知全能の存在であるエクトンとの対談本
「ECTON x SUGIZO Rise to Heaven on Earth」が発売される。

２０近くその書籍から本当に多くの大切な智慧を学ばさせてもらっていた。
俺にとって導き手、ガーディアン・エンジェルのような肉体を超越した存在
エクトンと直接の対話だけでも最高なのに、それが対談本として世に出るなんて！
思ってもみなかった現実に俺は狂喜乱舞した。

世界屈指のチャネラー、リチャード・ラヴィンを通して触れるエクトンは
無限の慈愛に満ち、この世界をいかに幸福に、強く生きぬいていくべきか、
素晴らしく的確な言葉をもって俺達を導いてくれる。

この本は俺がもっとも知りたかった智慧と情報が余すところなく凝縮された、
まさに俺がもっとも読みたかった、素晴らしく美しい一冊になった。
できれば真剣にこの地球上の全員にこれを読んでもらいたい！
すべての人にこの智慧を伝えたい！
