	Melissa	I try to have faith in humanity. On one hand, it's very easy to fall into the mentality that no matter how much I wish for peace [rather, for violence to stop] it will never happen on a large scale. On the other hand, if there are none who firmly believe that nuclear disarmament, how can it even be a possibility? Shouldn't I be the one of the ones trying With my friends, I have this little thing I do. I'd call it a joke, except the subject matter is usually very serious. I rate my days by a "Faith in Humanity" meter. If, in the morning, I read about a religious fanatic who used his religious title and the teachings of his church to molest underaged girls, my F-i-H meter is usually in the negatives. If I read about how two random students from a university on the East Coast took one day out of their week every week to simply walk around the campus and give out compliments to people to make them feel better, I have a high Faith in Humanity rating. I guess what I really mean to say with this comment is Thank You. Thank you for reminding me that I shouldn't lose faith that things will change. I shouldn't forget that I'm not alone.
