When a medical doctor makes a diagnosis as untreatable/.incurable or for unknown causes, it may be true in their framework only and does not necessarily mean it holds true in other frameworks. This is why some modalities are often called "alternative" or "complementary".

It is nowadays a common practice to seek "second opinions", or opinions from other MD's if you are not sure of the first diagnosis. Then why not a third or fourth from alternative practitioners?

One recommendation here would be: please please do not give up your power to somebody else, whether it is a MD you trust or an alternative practitioner or a religious teacher. It is always only you who can make a choice for yourself. Listening to their advice or suggestions is okay, but you need to make the final decision.

I would have to agree. I defied all medical advice, which was based on guesses at best, and opted against surgery for 4 years on a rather large mass. I knew in my heart (and body) that surgery was not the answer for me. I had a lot to learn from this mysterious mass and the journey was a long difficult one, yet rewarding.
It has now disappeared just as mysteriously at is arrived.
Not so mysteriously, really...I worked through the lessons it brought me.

Lotus Born,

Thank you for the message. It's great that you've gone through the healing process without surgery. Gooood for YOU!!! According to a study in Australia, circa 70% of the "diseases" are caused by emotional imbalances (or resistance to change). I guess 70% is a fair number but the most difficult part is how to get to the bottom of the cause and tackle it! I'm trying to offer insight/assistance/support every day to my clients. It is just that sometimes the person in the middle of it is the only one who cannot see the situations from a larger viewpoint - thus a third party usually helps alot.

Thanks and I agree with you in great deal.
I have a grandpa living in Shirakawa, Fukushima.
He's been anounced the cancer being so bad
that he's got 2 month left.
I went up there to see him, only to find his wellness,
and I had this firm idea that he will survive.
It's only his MD tells, and I rather do belive in his compassion.
I'm sure every diseases meant exist to deliver him/her a message.
Only if my grandpa get aware of the very nature of where he's heading to,
then he will be cured in true mean.
Thanks for giving me hope on this!

Hi nelcco,

Thanks for the message. Sorry to hear that you grandfather is diagnosed with cancer.

Yes, the first thing about "fighting" the disease is to make up one's mind to go through this no matter what. The patient as well as all the other people around would need to believe in it.

As you may be well informed, there are thousands of alternative therapies for cancer - and even within the conventional medicine, it is worthwhile to seek a second opinion, or third in fact.

If there's anything I can do, besides praying for the best for your grandpa, please let me know.
