Naoshima Standard 2 is an event focused on contemporary arts.

This event is held in Naoshima, an island located in Seto Inland Sea, Kagawa prefecture, Japan.

Although the island is very small,  there are many works by contemporary artists from place to place.

I went there in last Sunday.

Main purpose of the trip was to listen to the new track by David Sylvian, 'When loud weather buffeted Naoshima.'.

He composed the track from his voices, many kinds of sounds he collected in the island.

We borrowed i-pod containing his track and pushed play button.

While we listened to the music, we walked around island, and looked many houses made by artists and works therein.

The imaginative sound accompanied with art works filled us with the feeling of unreality.

And blue sky and sea... what a beautiful island!

When we were on the ferry from Naoshima to Takamatsu on our return road, we saw the sunset!!!

The detail of the event is written here!

Another purpose of the trip is....eating udon!!!

Udon is japanese noodle.

Kagawa prefecture is famous for udon, we ate udon at lunch and dinner.

I was so immersed in eating that I forgot to take pictures. lol.
