The last week, cherry blossoms (sakura) were in full bloom!

You know, there is a custom (that is peculiar to Japanese?) about cherry blossoms.

Many Japanese go out to see cherry blossom in April, parks, temples, shrines, rivers and so on.

We call the custom 'hana-mi' (hana =  flowers, mi = looking, flowers mean cherry blossoms in this case).

In a fomous park, people sit down under beautiful cherry blossoms and drink beer with friends all over the night!!!

It's a fantastic event for Japanese.
