Well since my last post in someways a lot and not much has happened.  Spent some time taking the kids up north to see the Grandparents.  Booked a show at new venue that canceled the show on me, and had a band practice.

A guy in Old Town talked to me about throwing some shows at his place.  So, because he wanted to I set the show up on short notice, worked hard to get a full lineup of bands.  It was going to be a good show.  Then the day of the show he sends me a text message and says 'something came up and the show is canceled'.   This is only the 2nd time in all the years that I've thrown shows that I had to cancel at the last minute a show I was throwing.  But it was totally out of my control, at that point.  Even when I went into the hospital to have kindey stones removed, on the day of a Ripped Heart show at the Olde Jamestowne Hall, the show still went on, because we could still get into the building, so some friends took care of everything.  Don't worry cancellations will not be a regular thing for Ripped Heart shows.  I apoligize to the bands and everybody who was planning to come out to the show, it would would have been a lot fun.

So, doesn't look like any Ripped Heart shows until September 5th @ Olde Jamestowne Hall...  Meanwhile Desiring Dead Flesh has 2 great shows next weekend, in Howell and Frankenmuth.  I hope to see everybody.  We'll have a seat or two to each of the shows in the 'Desiring Dead Flesh Van' if anybody from the area wants to catch a ride.
