I´m finally done planning my wedding! Listen to this:

Friday evening we have the formal dinner with parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles.. basically all those we HAVE to invite, for a fine dinner and speaches.. Including the songs with 49 verses saying exactly the same things that has been said in the speaches. This will be the "dress up event".

Saturday we have the wedding seremony in a chapel. EVERyyyone we know is invited. If you are reading this, you are allready on the guestlist :) After the seremony we all go to a partytent for food and deserts. i have never been a fan of differing between dinner-guests and coffee-guests, so this will be more sort of an "open-house" gathering. I´m thinking of doing something simple for dinner- maybe a huge barbeque? I have tons of dads and chefs in my family who would love spending some time behind the grill. Since I´m into photography and LOVE making albums and such, we are going to rent one of thoose photobooths (that you would use to take pictures for your passport) so all the guests can go in there and make funny faces and such- giving me tons of material for my wedding album. EVERYone has to get in there, even my grandma. This will be a more informal party with music and speaches from friends. Lots of laughs, and I will definetly be barefoot.

From around 10 pm, we rent a local bar with a stage for a private party. This will be for the younger guests.  Since I´m a singer, and my husband is a rocker, we have TONS of talented musicfriends. So this part of the day will be more like a concert slash open jam where everyone who wants to, or has been asked can perform. Open bar. Me and my hubby will be doing the toastmastering inviting people to join us on stage.

Sunday all those who have travelled far, or close friends will be invited to a boattrip. Hopefully the weather will be perfect so we can have a relaxing time along the fjords of Norway, just a few hours maybe, before we come to a shore where we have organized an outdoor picnic with tons and tons of blankets on the ground. lights hanging from trees ect. We will serve shrimp with whitewine, and leftover cakes from the day before, and basically spend a few hours swimming if you want, chatting, playing typical outdoor-games (kubb, dart, butcha, badminton..) or just simply resting in the sun after the late party from the day before.

I only have a few minor details left to figure out.. We have to set a date. I have to figure out who rents out those photobooth-thingys. And yeah, I sort-of have to find a husband. But when all that is set, you can be sure to find an invite in your mail anytime soon!

On second thought- you know what- Finding a husband might take some time.. How about just forgetting that part, and make this a party in honour of myself?? Cause this plan is just too good to waste, right?! Wanna come??
