Let me introduce about the origin and the source of my artist name "SpaceWind". I named my artist name "SpaceWind" after a Japanese famous unique yoga master and martial artist, who is TEMPU NAKAMURA. It is the same as the one that his name is translated in English.
"TEN" (ahead of character P, we spell N into M) means "Space", "Sky" in Japanese. "PU (=KAZE)" means "Wind" in Japanese.
He was the first one who brought yoga to Japan and founded his own art called Shin Shin Toitsu-do, the Way of Mind and Body Unification.
I was so impressed by his unique life story, so I respect him so much.
He was born in July 20, 1876, passed away in December 1, 1968.
He joined the Imperial Japanese Army and served as a covert agent in Northern China when he was 16 years old.
He was one of only nine out of 113 military affairs investigators to return to Japan alive from the Russian-Japanese War. After that he suffered a severe attack of tuberculosis when he was 30 years old.
It was the beginning of his hardest and struggling days of his own life. Because of this incurable disease, He had to keep on seeking a cure for his illness all over the world. New York (Columbia University), England, Germany, Belgium and France. After the vagrant life of five years, on the way back to Japan, He finally happened to meet a philosopher in Egypt named Kaliapa, who took him to Kangchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world, located between Nepal and India. He remained there for two and a half years of yoga study and practice, which incidentally cured his illness.( GREAT!!! )
After finally returning to Japan, he served as president of Tokyo Industrial Bank, among other business activities. He established his own medical and philosophical organization, renaming it Tempukai in 1940.
His philosophy is wonderful explaining about the situation of how to control your mind. His philosophy teaches us "concrete" method how to build your success.
Now you can reach into your soul and my songs as well!
I hope my voice and my songs, the messenger of my heart and soul, cheer you up as "always"!
