...AT LEAST write some bullshit like, "Hey, thanks for being a friend. Check out my new video."
Videos without a greeting, "Do you like me?" comments, advertisements for shows with tits, ass, bling bling & idiots holding money in their hands (probably all one-dollar bills), advertisement comments for non-musical related stuff... and on and on. MySpace is really getting on my nerves.
I'm a musician and this is a music page. I believe in helping a fellow musician (or anything music-related) advertise his/her site, new CD, or whatever, but what happened to courtesy? Take the time to write a blurb, or just make a banner with a blurb. (WITHOUT the tits, ass, bling & money, please!)
I'm a musician and this is a music page. I'm not trying to get laid, find a man/woman, I don't have the desire to flirt or chat or have internet sex. Not with strangers, anyway.
I'm a musician and this is a music page. I'm not going to listen to your music and let you know what I think, as seems to be the popular copy/paste phrase going around. If you actually start a dialogue with me, then I will. But I'm on here doing the same thing as you - trying to get my music and name out to the public. The courteous thing to do would be to listen to MY music first, make a comment, then politely ask if I'd do the same.
Just as there is an "accept" button, there are also "deny" and "delete" buttons. Guess which one I click...
(P.S. I know nothing will change, because these nimrods don't read blogs. I just needed to vent...)
