Ok, so we finally have all the information about VAMPS last show of their 2009 tour. So here goes:
※ハワイ現地ツアーお申込みはハワイ及び海外在住の方限定となります。
Ticket requests are now available through JTB Hawaii Event & Sales Promotions Department of their 2155 Kalakaua Ave, 9th Floor, Honolulu, HI location. Contact them using this email address: sat@jtb-hawaii.com
Please write "VAMPS LIVE 2009 U.S.A." in your emails subject line, and include the number of tickets you are requesting (maximum 2 ticket packages per person), and include a contact phone number.
Requests for tickets can only be made until August 24th at 5pm, Hawaii standard time, or until all available tickets sell-out (so move fast if you are interested).
Once you have your tickets reserved, you will need to go to the JTB's DFS Branch office, located at Oli' Oli' Pineapple Wing, DFS Galleria 2nd Floor, 330 Royal Hawaiian Ave., Honolulu, HI to make your payment. Again, it is $150.00 for one ticket package that includes one general admission ticket, one free drink, and a shuttle bus from the Hawaii Prince Hotel to the USS Missouri and back again.
All payments for tickets reserved (before August 24th), must be made by September 11th, 2009. If you do not live on Hawaii, or have no way of getting to the JTB DFS location by September 11th in order to make your payment, please contact JTB and they will work with you on other payment options.
OK, then once you have your paid tickets, here is what you need to know about the actual show and schedule:
September 13th (day of the show), 2009 2:30pm please assemble at the Hawaii Prince Hotel lobby for check-in 3:00pm the shuttle buses will depart for the USS Missouri (so don't be late!) 4:00pm there will be a brief "static" tour of the USS Missouri... cause hey, you are there and it is a pretty great historical site. 5:00pm move to the USS Missouri concert area 6:00pm VAMPS LIVE 2009 FINAL PARTY begins! 6:30pm VAMPS stops the show and quizes the audience about the facts of the USS Missouri... this most likely won't happen, just wanted to see how many of you are still reading this 9:00pm the shuttle buses depart to bring everyone back to the Hawaii Prince Hotel
Now that is the basic schedule... it may change slightly due to traffic, weather, etc.
Finally, here are the other things you need to know before you can get to the USS Missouri:
1. The USS Missouri is located on a military base, so they will be checking IDs. Please have a photo ID with you so you will have no problems for entry. 2. Cell phones, cameras, big bags or hip/fanny packs will not be allowed on board the USS Missouri... even those little plastic phones filled with candy are not allowed. 3. Outside food and beverages are also not allowed... again, no candy-filled plastic phones. 4. There will be snacks and merchandise available for purchase, but you should really have a big lunch before meeting at the hotel. Maybe put-on some sun block too. 5. So essentially, don't bring anything but money and your photo ID if you can help it. 6. The USS Missouri is a historical landmark, and the staff of course take that very seriously. Please conduct yourself accordingly as we have been warned that any persons not conducting themselves appropriately will not be allowed on board. This seems like an obvious thing to me... you basically never want to show-up to a show drunk with a lampshade on your head, throwing-up on the person in front of you, screaming "PARTY!" over and over. Please be respectful of the USS Missouri and the staff as we hope to have more concerts on historically significant battleships in the future... maybe.
For those of you not attending this show for whatever reason... thanks for reading to the very end of this long blog. Just so I know how many people actually made it to the end though, please write me a little note and tell me what city/state and country you are from... I just need to know someone cares!
Hope to see you all in Hawaii! Thanks!
