Beloved-

I just wanted to extend a huge "thank you" to anyone and everyone that both attended and helped run TRAUMA on September 29th.  We were greeted by such love and warmth that it was incredible. We felt so welcomed by everyone.

It was also a great pleasure to see fans there that aren't accustomed to the Goth scene! Personally, I will always have a special place in my heart for helping to be a catalyst in presenting different sub- and counter- cultures to people than they are used to experiencing. Love needs understanding in order to grow, and understanding is never cultivated without experience – never without removing the blinders of one's own circumstances and stepping, for even an instant, outside of the comfort zone. So for all of you who, perhaps, had never worn all-black in your life until that night; to the few of you who even refused to let your individualism fade that night by still wearing soft pink and white heals; to the many who, again, in their striking distinctiveness, gathered together under the canopy of darkness to find comrades within a shelter from a deceptively bright world: I love you all.

Sometimes people have problems trying something new -- at times there's a personal reason and others it's simply "too weird" or out of their comfort zone. While it's been a LONG time since I've done ANYthing even remotely "Goth" it was worth it to do it for S.I.G.M.A. Project!

Where there are good people and good times to be had -- from Goth to Gershwin and everything in between -- that's where people will find themselves drawn to and that's what S.I.G.M.A. Project does best! You accept us in our diversity and our differences. Your welcome everyone heartfelt gratitude. You welcome us not as fans, but friends.

Truly, you get what you give.
