After hearing rumours that this gig was too be a sell out, i was eagerly anticipating seeing these three very different acts. First to enter the stage was local DJ/producer Jo ee T. Unfortunately the dancefloor seemed bare upon his arrival which seemed to have no effect on his upbeat performance. Equipped with only a laptop and synthesiser, Jo ee T played a set combining a mixture of dance, house and live electronics. Although not a normal ‘Sugarmill act’ Jo soon drew the crowd further to the front which even lead to a small section dancing. DJ fresh then accompanied him on stage for the final two songs. He played a quality performance and with a loyal fan base, easily has the talent to go on and sell out future gigs. Overall, Jo ee T played an upbeat and energetic set which resulted in a positive reception from the crowd. A really enjoyable performance.
