I posted this blog on my site also- along with an article about the pre-9/11 put options. It just tears me up inside to know that these people would rather profit, then to try & save lives. It's just crazy! Some people say- " it's just the world we live in." That's apathy. "I believe" the world is what we make of it.

Could be an October suprise, but this could be attributed to contrarian investment due to the DOW reaching an all time high while the technical indicators show an oversold market.

The markets normally drop in September and start back up end of Oct. beginning of Nov. The makets never made this correction. They've been on an up trend since July. I believe there are a few reasons for this. One reason was to affect the elections (didn't work). Another is to keep consumers spending through the holidays. And then there is the concept of the buyingfrenzy before the collapse. Happens in almost every bubble. 2007 is looking pretty ominous. Here's a few articles that discuss the coming economic trouble:
